Sekou Doumbouya was a late scratch Friday ahead of the Pistons game against the Denver Nuggets. This will drop the Pistons down to the minimum number of eight players available for tonight's game. All players will be worthy of consideration as at least value plays though there are probably better and safer options elsewhere on the slate. The Pistons offense will primarily be run through Killian Hayes, Diallo, and Josh Jackson though due to the lack of available players all Pistons will see significant playing time.

This was the expected lineup, but it was worth confirming; Hayes will get the starting spot at point guard, while Sekou gets the nod at PF over Tyler Cook.

This news came out after the game locked unfortunately, but Doumbouya was ruled out while Frank Jackson will play. Jackson may play a few minutes off the bench since Hayes and Dennis Smith are out, but won't likely play too much. Doumbouya's absence will give a few more minutes to Bey and Josh Jackson, but not too many since Sekou barely plays.

On the second half of a back-to-back, the Pistons submitted a lengthy injury report ahead of their game against the Washington Wizards. Hayes was ruled out due to rest after playing 27 minutes yesterday, while DSJ and McGruder remain out due to their respective knee and elbow injuries. Frank Jackson was listed as questionable due to a knee injury; he played 23 minutes yesterday. Doumbouya is listed as probable due to a neck injury. The Pistons will be getting a few players back however, as Jerami Grant, Mason Plumlee, Cory Joseph, and Hamidou Diallo are all off the injury report, and should be available to play. Much of the value the Pistons had yesterday was due to them being without key pieces, but on today's slate, plays such as Isaiah Stewart, Josh Jackson, and Saddiq Bey won't be as valuable as they won't be thrust into the same minutes they were needed for yesterday. The only key news here is that with no Hayes and DSJ, Cory Joseph may be more valuable as he has the PG role to (mostly) himself.

The Pistons seem to have had a lengthy injury report for almost two weeks, and it continues as they face off against the Washington Wizards tonight. After playing 26 minutes last night, Diallo will be rested as he works his way back from a groin injury. McGruder will miss his fourth straight game due to an elbow sprain. Meanwhile, Ellington and Smith Jr. are both questionable to make their returns to the lineup; Ellington missed one game with a calf injury, while Smith Jr. has missed the last four due to spine soreness. Doumbouya has also been listed as probable due to a migraine. With this mess, it's tough to forecast who will gain more traction as nobody has been playing more than 28 minutes or so besides Jerami Grant, Saddiq Bey, and Mason Plumlee. If both Smith and Ellington were to miss, there's a chance for some viability for both Cory Joseph and possibly Josh Jackson, who has had his minutes reduced lately but could play some more off the bench. Overall, despite the great matchup against the Wizards, this is one of the trickiest rotations to project.

Plumlee and Doumbouya have been included on the Pistons' initial injury report and are listed out for Friday's matchup against the Boston Celtics due to their respective ailments, while Frank Jackson is listed as probable with a sprained right finger. Curiously, Blake Griffin was excluded from the injury report, which would put him on track to play in both games of a back-to-back set for the first time this season after logging 33 minutes in Thursday's loss. In Plumlee's absence, Isaiah Stewart will almost certainly receive his second consecutive start at the center position, and he was phenomenal for fantasy purposes last time out in just over 31 minutes of action, making him easily the top value option for all formats across the daily fantasy industry this evening.

As expected, Drummond has officially been upgraded from questionable and will start in Wednesday’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets despite dealing with a sprained left wrist, while Sekou Doumbouya will also start following his original probable designation on the Pistons' injury report. There haven’t been any reports of a potential minute restriction for Drummond, so he’ll presumably be fine to handle his usual minute workload in tonight’s contest. Barring a severe minutes limit or an in-game setback, Drummond will still be a viable tournament option on tonight’s slate, as he owns a 24.9% usage rate, a 26.0% rebound rate, and is averaging 1.39 DraftKings and 1.42 FanDuel points per minute on the season thus far.
