Terrelle Pryor Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Terrelle Pryor expected to sign with the Bills

Terrelle Pryor is reportedly expected to sign with the Bills after being let go by the Jets. The situation is hardly encouraging for Pryor outside of collecting a paycheck, however, as the Bills have arguably the worst offense in the league. Should Pryor get decent usage in the offense, it would mean a decrease in looks for the likes of Kelvin Benjamin and Zay Jones.

Jets are releasing WR Terrelle Pryor

Adam Schefter reports that the Jets have parted ways with Pryor for now but may bring him back once he returns to full health. With Quincy Enunwa sidelined, the Jets will depend on Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse for at least the next couple weeks. The Jets are still a low-volume passing offense so we still shouldn't expect huge numbers from either receiver despite the bump.

RB Isaiah Crowell (foot) questionable for Week 7 while WR Terrelle Pryor (groin) is doubtful

Crowell got in a limited practice on Friday while Pryor sat. Even if Crowell plays, the matchup isn't ripe this week against the Vikings with the Jets installed as 3.5-point underdogs. With WR Quincy Enunwa also ruled out, Pryor's absence opens the door for Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse to be target monsters in a game that the Jets will likely need to keep pace with a potent Vikings offense. Both receivers are $4500 or less on DraftKings this week.

Terrelle Pryor (groin) Dealing with Injury

Terrelle Pryor (groin) not at Jets practice to start. Quincy Enunwa has already been ruled out. Pryor has been solid this season and if he can't suit u then there is going to be an abundance of value at the Jets WR position Sunday.

RB Isaiah Crowell (foot) and WR Terrelle Pryor (groin) officially DNP's Thursday

Both players appear questionable for Week 7 and Friday's practice report will be telling. Even if Crowell plays, the matchup isn't ripe this week against the Vikings with the Jets installed as 3.5-point underdogs. With Enunwa already out, Pryor's absence would open the door for Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse to become target monsters in a game that the Jets will likely need to keep pace with a potent Vikings offense. Both receivers are $4500 or less on DraftKings this week.

Jets rule out Quincy Enunwa for Sunday; Isaiah Crowell, Robby Anderson, Terrelle Pryor all miss Wednesday's session

The Jets have ruled out Quincy Enunwa for Sunda.; Isaiah Crowell, Robby Anderson, Terrelle Pryor all missed Wednesday's session, and the Jets will certainly need some depth at WR with Enunwa on the shelf. Jermaine Kearse led the team in looks last week and would figure to step into Enunwa's role for the most part, setting him up as a potential punt play at the WR spot. He's probably a better fit on full-point PPR sites, but he'd get a boost if either Anderson or Pryor end up being inactive. We'll track the status of these guys as the week progresses.

WRs Quincy Enunwa (ankle) and Terrelle Pryor (groin) not practicing Wednesday

Enunwa is expected to miss some time while Pryor's DNP is a surprise after playing through Sunday's game against the Colts. If Pryor joins Enunwa on the sidelines in Week 7, expect Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse to become target monsters in a game that the Jets will likely need to keep pace with a potent Vikings offense.

Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor (ankle) and RB Chris Thompson (fibula) placed on IR

Pryor underwent ankle surgery Monday morning, which lead to the Washington Redskins' decision to place him on injured reserve, while the team also confirmed that Chris Thompson suffered a broken fibula, effectively ending his season as well. This means that Josh Doctson and Jamison Crowder will continue to work as the Redskins top-two wide receivers, in terms of target share, for the remainder of the season, with Ryan Grant working as the outside receiver when Crowder moves into the slot. Doctson is particularly interesting heading into the Thanksgiving Day slate, as he now has back-to-back games of seven targets and put up 81 yards in a tough matchup with the New Orleans Saints' secondary. As for Thompson's absence, Byron Marshall should take over the passing-down back role to some extent, while Semaje Perine looks to be the team's feature back with Rob Kelley still sidelined with an injury. Head coach Jon Gruden did tell reporters that the team does plan to sign a running back prior to Thursday's game, though Perine and Marshall appear locked in as the top running backs for at least one game given the short week.

Jordan Reed (hamstring), Terrelle Pryor (ankle) ruled out for Sunday; Ryan Grant (concussion) and Brian Quick (concussion) questionable

Reed and Pryor have both been ruled out and won't play in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints due to a hamstring and ankle injury, respectively, while Ryan Grant and Brian Quick have each been listed as questionable. Vernon Davis has performed extremely well the last two weeks with Reed inactive and has seen a massive 20 targets, so despite the tough matchup with the Saints defense, will remain firmly in play for tournaments as a mid-priced tight end option. Meanwhile, Josh Doctson could end up working as the Redskins primary outside receiver with Pryor unavailable and Grant also questionable, though he will now almost assuredly draw shadow coverage from Marshon Lattimore, likely making Jamison Crowder the more appealing wide receiver to target for daily fantasy formats.

Terrelle Pryor didn't practice Thursday

Pryor has become a non-factor in the Redskins offense. Last week, he was out-snapped by Maurice Harris 41-28 after Ryan Grant went down with a concussion. Even if Grant, who's been practicing this week, misses Week 11, Pryor could find himself as the fourth receiver. The Saints are fourth in pass DVOA and holding receivers to the sixth-fewest PPR points per game. Outside corners Marshon Lattimore and Ken Crawley have been excellent and converted safety Kenny Vaccaro has performed well in the slot. Vaccaro was absent last week with a groin injury though and collected a DNP today. If he remains sidelined, the Saints would have a soft spot inside. Jordan Matthews wasn't able to take advantage of that last week as the entire Bills offense tanked, but Jamison Crowder has a shot to exploit the weakness. He's come alive the past couple of games as he and Kirk Cousins have finally rekindled their 2016 chemistry, collecting 11 and 13 targets in those contests. P.J. Williams will be the primary slot defender for the Saints if Vaccaro can't go. His 1.53 yards per cover snap would be the sixth-most if he qualified (per PFF) and he's allowed a 71% catch rate. Crowder is just $4.3k on DK with projected ownership of 3%, making him an interesting GPP option. While it's certainly risky targeting the Saints pass defense, Crowder should pick up a high number of targets for his price point.
