Toney Douglas has been waived by the Grizzlies

The Grizzlies have waived guard Toney Douglas. This means that injured players that have been inactive for a while could be on their way back to the active roster. We don't have any further updates at this time and will continue to monitor the Grizzlies in advance of tomorrow's game against the Kings.

Troy Daniels (illness) and Vince Carter (hip) questionable for Saturday

Troy Daniels is dealing with an illness and is questionable for Saturday's game. Daniels played 31 minutes and only had 9.5 DraftKings fantasy points on Thursday. He's a scoring-dependent guard that is back to being cold. Avoid Daniels even if he does play and look for Toney Douglas to pick up some minutes if he misses. Douglas played 26 minutes on Thursday and played more minutes than Andrew Harrison or Wade Baldwin. He'll remain a tournament option as long as Harrison is the starter. Carter has missed the last six games and Tony Allen has taken advantage. Allen posted a double-double against the Blazers and is averaging 28.05 DK fantasy points in the games that Carter has been out.

Toney Douglas will play against the Pelicans tonight

Toney Douglas is expected to play tonight against his former team. They directly hurts the value of Andrew Harrison and Wade Baldwin, making them both extremely volatile options. Harrison is likely overpriced and it's possible that Baldwin will gain ownership after his strong game. Both players can still play well, but are extremely risky plays due to the playing time expected by Douglas.

Alexis Ajinca (shoulder) and Luke Babbitt (illness) out tonight

The season is winding down with the Pelicans only having seven healthy bodies for tonight's game. Douglas, Frazier, Ennis, Cunningham, Asik, Hamilton, and Perkins are available with Perkins and Asik the ones to not roster. There are just too many good center options tonight to really punt that low. James Ennis has really taken advantage of all the injuries and hung 29 points on the Bulls on Monday. He added a bunch of peripherals and ended the night with 44 DraftKings fpts in 40 minutes. Even with the explosion Ennis should only be reserved for tournaments with his floor too low for cash games.

Pelicans list starters as Douglas, Ennis, Cunningham, Ajinca, and Asik

The Pelicans will start the same starting lineup for another game. Tim Frazier was announced as the starter in the last game but did not actually start. Even off the bench, Frazier has exceeded value in six straight games. The Pelicans are dealing with so many injuries that they can't even the lineups straight. Ennis will make his third consecutive start and is a viable option against the Suns in a game expected to be close.

Pelicans expected to start Douglas, Ennis, Cunningham, Ajinca, and Asik on Wednesday

The Pelicans will look to return Tim Frazier and Luke Babbitt to the bench against the Celtics. Considering that this is the 40th different starting lineup for the Pelicans, there is little chemistry here. James Ennis will be making his first start for the Pelicans after joining them in the last week of March. Ennis should see around 30 minutes on Wednesday but does not have a ton of upside against a tough Celtics team. Since Boston is favored by 14.5 points, this game does not have much appeal.

Pelicans starters are Frazier, Douglas, Ennis, Cunningham, and Ajinca

Tim Frazier will be making his first for the Pelicans against the Sixers on Tuesday. Frazier is a strong cash game play and is expected to have heavy ownership in tournaments. Toney Douglas will continue to start alongside Frazier and will be an under-owned option coming off a bad game against Brooklyn. Dante Cunningham will be the low-owned option for the Pelicans starter and is a strong tournament option.

Tim Frazier starting alongside Toney Douglas; Alexis Ajinca replaces Omer Asik

Tim Frazier will be starting alongside Toney Douglas after the best game of his career on Sunday. It is likely that he will be replacing Jordan Hamilton in the starting lineup but it has not been made official yet. Frazier is nice cash game option against the Sixers and will likely be heavily owned in tournaments as well. Omer Asik will come off the bench with Alexis Ajinca replacing him in the starting lineup. Ajinca had 32.7 DKFP on Sunday in 29 minutes and is expected to play over 24 minutes again. Ajinca is averaging 25.65 fantasy points over his last six games, making him a viable punt option in all formats.

Pelicans to start Douglas, Hamilton, Babbitt, Cunningham, and Asik

The Pelicans will start the same starters for the second consecutive game. Toney Douglas led the Pelicans to a victory over Nuggets on Thursday. Douglas had 40.8 fpts in 36 minutes, making him a strong option against the Nets on Sunday. Douglas is averaging 26.08 fpts over his last eleven starts. Jordan Hamilton also played well in his second consecutive start, hitting 32.3 fpts in 32 minutes. Hamilton's asking price is still sub-$4k on both major sites, making him a nice tournament option with considerable upside. Only Asik did not play well against the Nuggets and is a really low-end option on Sunday.

Norris Cole (back) unlikely to play

Norris Cole's sore back has not healed enough and he is not expected to play. Toney Douglas will continue to start in his place and makes for a nice tournament option. Douglas has scored 25+ fpts in nine out of his last ten starts. Tim Frazier will be used as the backup and he is averaging 25.97 fpts in his last eight games.
