Trey Quinn Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Paul Richardson, Trey Quinn Both Ruled Out for Sunday

Richardson and Quinn were both ruled out for Sunday, giving the Redskins little WR depth behind Terry McLaurin. Kelvin Harmon should be the number two option, while Steven Sims and Cam Sims compete for the rest of the WR workload.

Trey Quinn (Concussion), Adrian Peterson (Toe) Do Not Practice Thursday

Quinn and Peterson did not practice Thursday. Peterson typically takes at least one day of rest each week, so he is still expected to play Sunday. Quinn not practicing with a concussion puts him on track to not be available this week.

Paul Richardson, Trey Quinn Ruled Out for Sunday

Paul Richardson and Trey Quinn have been ruled out for Sunday. The Redskins leaned on the run game last week, with Peterson and Guice combining for 228 yards. Even with additional snaps, it is hard to trust the receivers behind Terry McLaurin.

Paul Richardson (Hamstring), Trey Quinn (Concussion) Do Not Practice Wednesday

Richardson and Quinn both did not practice Wednesday, putting them in question for Sunday. Both still have a good chance to play.

Redskins WR Terry McLaurin is Active Today

As expected, McLaurin will suit up today at home vs. the Patriots.

Redskins Rookie WR Terry McLaurin (Hamstring) Optimistic to Play Today

Even if McLaurin plays, it is tougher to imagine a tougher situation for the rookie to put up points today. The Patriots are tops in the league in DVOA vs. the pass, and McLaurin will likely draw coverage from the elite Stephon Gilmore. On the other side, the Redskins are starting long-time backup Colt McCoy and have an implied team total under two touchdowns. If you are trying to run a Patriots stack back with a Redskins player, Trey Quinn and Chris Thompson are slightly more appealing options than McLaurin and Paul Richardson due to the brutal matchup.

Redskins Receiver Terry McLaurin (Hamstring) Out Against Giants

The rookie receiver has been ruled out vs. the Giants, meaning Paul Richardson, Vernon Davis, Trey Quinn, and Chris Thompson could see more targets. Robert Davis will step into a much larger role as well since he will likely take McLaurin's place on the outside.

Trey Quinn inactive for MNF; Jamison Crowder, Chris Thompson both active

Trey Quinn is inactive after spending the last few days in a walking boot, but with Jamison Crowder back, his role was going to diminish anyway. Chris Thompson's return finally gives the Skins their best pass-catching back, although he'll still be a game-flow dependent option along with Adrian Peterson. Kapri Bibbs' role should be erased, but he could still see a few touches to spell Thompson.

Redskins WR Trey Quinn Status in Question for Tonight

Redskins WR Trey Quinn in walking boot on Sunday and did not practice Saturday. Quinn received 10 targets over the last 2 games and scored a touchdown. He was shaping up to be a sleeper pick in the Monday Night showdown for DFS, but those plans may be derailed. We will post inactives before the game so stay tuned.

Chris Thompson (ribs) will play Monday night

Thompson has officially been cleared to return and will play in Monday night's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles after missing four consecutive games with a ribs injury, while Adrian Peterson, Jordan Reed, Jamison Crowder, and Trey Quinn have all drawn a questionable tag due to their respective ailments. Prior to his injury, Thompson was a focal point of the Redskins offense, and he could be in line for additional targets and carries if any combination of the aforementioned players are inactive or limited for Monday Night Football.
