Tyler Ennis Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
Auston Matthews' linemate is priced like a healthy scratch
While Tyler Ennis does not stand out as a must-have value on DraftKings with the elevated price tag ($4,700), where he is better reserved for tournaments, FanDuel has shown little attention to salaries to start the season as everyone is priced where they were last season, and in Tyler's case, he is priced like a fourth-liner for the Minnesota Wild as Ennis checks in at the near-minimum $3,500 on FanDuel despite skating on the line with superstar Auston Matthews and veteran Patrick Marleau. These three found chemistry during the preseason, and with William Nylander still in Sweden, Ennis figures to see 15-plus minutes every night. Utilize his dirt-cheap price in cash games on FanDuel to gain Toronto exposure and grab some of the superstars on this loaded Saturday slate.
Could This Top Scoring Line Go Overlooked Tonight?
After struggling for much of the early part of this year, veteran Eric Staal has proven he has plenty of gas left in the tank; entering tonight's game with 12 points over his last 10 games. Skating alongside talented playmakers Nino Niederreiter and Tyler Ennis on Minnesota's top scoring line, Staal should get plenty of opportunities to continue his resurgence against a depleted Rangers defense that will be without their top defensemen in Ryan McDonagh tonight. He's not the sexiest pick in the world, and Minnesota rarely blows the opposition out of the water, but with New York's struggles on the road continuing through the start of the new year, Staal becomes a terrific all around play with his moderate price in a game the Wild should have no problems finding the back of the net.
Tyler Ennis and Johnny O'Bryant starting Wednesday
Michael Carter-Williams will miss another game and Jabari Parker will be rested. Tyler Ennis plays again at PG instead of Carter-Williams' while Johnny O'Bryant will start for Parker at PF.
