Tyrell Williams Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

DET WR Tyrell Williams (concussion) placed on IR

Tyrell was placed on the IR due to a concussion, and will miss the game against the Ravens. In the Lions last game, Quintuz Cephus was the top WR for the team; he played 89% of snaps and ended up scoring a touchdown as well. Kalif Raymond and Amon-Ra St. Brown should help fill out as the peripheral options, but all options that aren't TJ Hockenson are going to be difficult to play in a tough matchup against the Ravens.

DET WR Tyrell Williams not expected to play this week

Tyrell Williams, who is currently in the concussion protocol, is not expected to play this week per Coach Dan Campbell. With Williams unavailable on Monday the team leaders in targets were T.J Hockenson (9), Quintez Cephus (7), D'Andre Swift (5), and Amon-Ra St. Brown (5). The Lions draw an extremely tough matchup with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday making most of their players tough to roster. However, Hockenson should be considered due to the fact the Ravens have given up the most fantasy points in the league to tight ends so far this season.

DET WR Tyrell Williams (concussion) ruled out for Monday; Kalif Raymond (thigh) and D'Andre Swift (groin) questionable

Williams was ruled out as expected; he was unable to clear the concussion protocol and will miss the MNF game. Swift and Raymond are both listed as questionable; Swift practiced in full and looks closer to playing, while Raymond only got in a limited practice. Raymond would be one competing for the WR1 spot, along with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Quintez Cephus. If Swift sat, Jamaal Williams would get a huge workload.

DET WR Tyrell Williams (concussion) unlikely to play Monday

Williams remains in the concussion protocol for the Lions, as the injury that caused him to leave last game is still lingering. With the Lions playing on Monday, there is an extra day for him to recover, but coach Campbell said it's looking unlikely. This would lead to more Kalif Raymond, Trinity Benson, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

DET WR Tyrell Williams enters concussion protocol

Tyrell Williams has entered the concussion protocol ahead of Monday nights matchup with the Green Bay Packers. If Williams were to miss it is likely that the targets he would have seen will be spread out across the Detroit passing attack. T.J. Hockenson, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond should be Jared Goff's top options in a game they are likely to be playing from behind.

Tyrell Williams (Foot) Will Play Sunday

Williams is healthy and will play Sunday for the Raiders. The Raiders still have an outside shot at the playoffs, so expect the Raiders to push their starters all game.

Tyrell Williams (Foot) Does Not Practice Thursday

Williams was a new addition to the Raiders' injury report, not practicing with a foot injury. The extent of the injury is not yet clear, but his status for Sunday is in question.

Hunter Renfrow (Rib/Lung) Week-to-Week, Won't Play Sunday

Not surprisingly, Renfrow will not play Sunday after suffering a broken rib and punctured lung last week. His status for the rest of the season is not known. Renfrow has had a strong rookie season and seen an increased role as the season has progressed. He has 36 catches for 396 yards and 2 TDs in 11 games.

Elite Offensive Pairings in GPP Formats

In tournaments, I really like the Derek Carr to Tyrell Williams pairing this week. Williams does not have a high floor and has struggled since returning from injury, but a matchup against the pathetic Bengals defense should provide a nice elixir for his ailments. If you're looking to play it safer, you could certainly pair Carr with Darren Waller instead, which is absolutely fine. Alternatively, you could go bananas and play Carr, Williams, AND Waller. The Bengals allow production to anybody and everybody these days, which is why Oakland has a massive 30 point implied team total.

Dwayne Harris (Ankle) Questionable; Josh Jacobs, Tyrell Williams Do Not Have Injury Designations, Will Play Sunday

Both Jacobs and Tyrell do not carry injury designations into the weekend, giving the Raiders two of their top weapons. Dwayne Harris has just 1 catch on the season, so his status won't have a major fantasy impact.
