How the 10x wagering requirement works
The wagering requirement is based on the bonus amount, not the full deposit.
Say you deposit $500. A 20% match gives you $100 in Sports Bonus. From there, BetMGM requires 10x play-through on that $100 bonus, which means you’d need to place $1,000 in wagers before the requirement is fully met.
Same idea with smaller numbers. Deposit $200, get a $40 bonus, and the wagering requirement comes out to $400.
What happens if you don’t complete it
BetMGM gives you 30 days to satisfy the wagering requirement. If you don’t finish it in time, any remaining sports bonus connected to the deposit match can expire. Winnings tied to unused bonus funds can expire too, which matters if you were planning to let the offer sit in your account and come back to it later.
