I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it helps you think about today’s NFL plays in a new way as you build your lineups. Here are 10 Notes for NFL Week 1.
1. In NFL history, there have been eight seasons in which a QB with at least 200 attempts completed better than 70 percent of his passes; Drew Brees owns three of them. Here are his TD totals in those three seasons: 34 (2009), 46 (2011), 23 (2017). On the face of it, it looks like Brees is due for some serious positive touchdown regression in 2018, assuming his legendary accuracy remains in tact.
