2017 DFS Rankings Review

It’s certainly a tight race for the RotoGrinders Tournament Player of the Year race thus far in 2017, as awesemo continues to hold the lead but there are three others all within 5,000 points of him including the brothers ChipotleAddict in 2nd and papagates in 4th. ChipotleAddict moved up one spot this week bumping youdacao down to 3rd.

The big riser in the top 25 this week was fallfromgrace, who took down several big GPPs as highlighted in our most recent DFS Tournament Report and moved up three spots to #9.The rest of the top 25 saw little movement with only one new member, affihq, who entered at #25 after being #26 last week.

The top 8 in the Superheavyweight Tier remained unchanged as current TPOY Saahil Sud maintains a comfortable lead over youdacao with ChipotleAddict, papagates, and scout326 rounding out the top five. The biggest riser was draftcheat who moved up two spots to #14 after a successful MLB week that saw him take down some live final seats and top finishes in GPP’s. TinkyTyler entered the top 25, moving up one spot to #25.

Rayzethesky introduced himself to the Heavyweight leaderboard in a big way as he entered the Tier with a #6 ranking as his average buy-in caused him to shift into a different weight class. He was the only new member of this Tier with ocdobv and chess_is_ok continuing to have a stranglehold on the top two spots. RotoGrinders contributors squirrelpatrol and boggslite sit in 4th and 5th respectively.

The Middleweight tier saw a lot of movement this week but no one is close to topping the current leader DollarBill as he still holds a substantial 50,000+ point lead over jordanh415 and windchimesrrude who both moved up into the top three this week. The biggest mover of the week was affihq who moved up four spots to #8. Meatacus dropped down in tiers and entered in at #16.

Anilprao88 and Capri continue to hold steady at the top of the Welterweight Leaderboard with blitzology moving up one spot into the top 5. Two players made their debut in the top 25 as clarkgriswold comes in at #20 and bluecrew07 is not far behind him at #22.

CZYX continues to dominate the Bantamweight tier with nearly three times the amount of points of current 2nd place player chad001 who swapped spots with benbell23 this week. Jun15ior entered the tier rankings in a big way at #10. KeithR70 was the other big mover as he entered the top 25, moving up four spots to #23.
