2018 FanDuel and DraftKings MLB DFS Live Finals Preview
With playoff races intensifying across MLB and the trade deadline well in the rear-view mirror, it means that it’s almost time for both the FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Championships!
Nearly all of the qualifying seats have already been claimed for both of these amazing live events, but you still have a few more opportunities to take down a qualifier and rub elbows with some of the industry’s top players in their quest to bring home some serious prize-money!
FanDuel World Fantasy Baseball Championship
FanDuel has once again set the bar high for their Live Finals events. The 2018 FanDuel WFBC will be held in sunny San Diego on Saturday, August 18th. The finalist will not only be treated to luxury accommodations in San Diego’s lively Gaslamp Quarter, but they’ll also enjoy entry into a $50,000 MLB Single Game contest as they sit in attendance live Friday night as the Arizona Diamondbacks invade Petco Park to battle the Padres.
The next night, the action really intensifies as, after locking in their lineups, the finalist will head to the Sunburn Pool Party at the Hard Rock Hotel where they’ll have access to FanDuel’s VIP WFBC Viewing Party where one of the winners will be crowned Champion and walk away with the cool $300,000.00 first-place prize. All 100 finalists will be rewarded with handsome paydays as FanDuel will be paying out $1,500,000 in total prizes.
Have no fear, things are not over once the confetti stops falling on the newly crowned champion as the next stop is the Playboy After Party at the Float Rooftop and Pool Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel.

The field is stacked with some of DFS’s top names which guarantees some stiff competition and will magnify the strategy and gamesmanship that makes DFS baseball so great.
DraftKings 2018 Fantasy Baseball World Championship
Not one to be outdone, DraftKings delivers a $4,000,000 prize pool for their 2018 Fantasy Baseball World Championship with the first place winner taking home $500,000! DraftKings will host this event in New York City on August 11th where one of the 135 qualifiers will be presented the championship belt at Chelsea Piers Sports and Entertainment Complex.
Joining our live finalists will be some New York baseball legends as Gleyber Torres, Mookie Wilson and David Cone will all be in attendance. While this event is the headliner of the weekend in the Big Apple, all of the finalists will also be competing for their share of the $100,000 prize-pool as they take in the sights and sounds of new Yankee Stadium as the Yankees play host to the Texas Rangers.
