2020 NFL DFS Usage Trends: Week 2

In this space, headed into Week 2, we look at volume, team-by-team. The little volume of volume we have and see what that means for DFS, limiting our scope to volume. There will be analysis on how productive players were and should be, what sort of value they hold on the coming slate, and the ownership they project in other spaces. Here, we will look at volume in context to better frame our team outlooks.

Arizona Cardinals

One of the biggest first impressions from high-priced players was DeAndre Hopkins being targeted on 16 of 40 passes from Kyler Murray. If there was any notion we had that Hopkins was being paid to be a decoy, we can throw that. They paid one of the alpha-iest of alpha to be one of the premier alphas of the league. This concentration depresses the value of Christian Kirk and takes Larry Fitzgerald out of play on FD.
