Chiefs vs. Eagles – Super Bowl, Running Back Player Props

Jerick McKinnon u20.5 rushing yards (-105), PointsBet

Per Pro Football Focus, Jerick McKinnon has played five rushing snaps or fewer in four of his last five games, dating back to Week 16. In that span, McKinnon has 43 total rushing yards on 24 carries. Only once in that span has he gone over this market number, and it was in the divisional round against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a game in which Patrick Mahomes was forced to miss much of the first half due to an ankle injury. There is little doubt that Isiah Pacheco has taken over the majority of the backfield duties for this team. Take the under for McKinnon in this spot.

Boston Scott o5.5 rushing yards (-130), PointsBet

In Philadelphia’s last three games, Boston Scot has played no fewer than 10 snaps and has not received fewer than six rushing attempts in any individual contest. Undoubtedly, blowout game scripts played a role in Scott’s increased usage across the last month, it would be surprising to see the Eagles completely turn away from him in the Super Bowl, given his recent success. On his last 21 carries, he has 107 rushing yards and three touchdowns. This line is low enough that Scott could conceivably hit the over if he is given a single rush attempt on Sunday. Be prepared to look foolish if Scott doesn’t see the field, but this wager is worth a small stab from bettors.

Isiah Pacheco o46.5 rushing yards (-110), FanDuel

Since Week 10, Isaiah Pacheco has eclipsed this number in 9-of-11 games played. In that span, the only two times he fell short were against the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals. Across the final nine weeks of the regular season, Denver ranked better than league average in rush EPA defensively and Cincinnati ranked fourth against the run. In stark contrast, the Eagles were worse than league average against the run in that span and finished 23rd in defensive rush EPA for the season. Expect Pacheco to have plenty of opportunities on the ground on Sunday. Take the over.
