Georgia vs. Alabama player props for the College Football Playoff National Championship game are out, at least at PrizePicks. We’re still waiting for props to show up at online sportsbooks like DraftKings, FanDuel, Caesars and BetMGM, but the popular DFS prop site PrizePicks is ready for action. There you will find quarterback props for Bryce Young and Stetson Bennett IV, rushing props for Brian Robinson and Zamir White, and receiving props for Jameson Williams and Brock Bowers. Even better? With kickoff scheduled for 8:00 PM ET, Monday, January 10, these lines will only get more efficient as we inch closer to game time. You’ll find the best +EV opportunities by locking in your picks earlier than later. With that in mind, here are some of my favorite CFP National Championship props.

Alabama vs. Georgia Prop Picks

Bryce Young OVER/UNDER 311.5 Pass Yards

As I touched on in the Georgia vs. Alabama betting preview (linked above), Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien will use a similar game plan in the national championship as he used to attack Georgia in the SEC Championship. In the first iteration, Alabama avoided trying to get past Georgia’s on the ground and instead took to the air. Nine of Alabama’s first 11 offensive plays were passes, and Heisman-winning quarterback Bryce Young finished the game with 44 attempts, 421 yards and three touchdowns — while playing with at least a two-touchdown lead for almost the entirety of the second half. One thing that has changed since the SEC Championship game is that Young will be without his favorite receiving target, John Metchie, but that still won’t deter O’Brien from calling a heavy dose of pass plays. OVER.

Stetson Bennett OVER/UNDER 254.5 Pass Yards

Honestly, I’m not sure what to think here. Despite getting criticism for poor play, which included a pick-six and a costly interception near the end zone, Bennett managed to throw for 340 yards in the SEC Championship. This of course, was a product of the game script, which featured Georgia playing from behind by multiple possessions for half the game. It was also only the second game all season in which Bennett had more than 25 pass attempts. He made it a third against Michigan in the CFP semifinals.

If oddsmakers are correct, we shouldn’t expect Monday night’s game script to resemble what we saw in early December. In other words, don’t look at the last Georgia-Bama box score and assume this is a bargain.

I’ll probably pass on this particular prop, but if you twist my arm, I suppose I lean toward the OVER simply because it’s correlated with my first pick. PASS.

Brian Robinson OVER/UNDER 77.5 Rush Yards

Robinson had a career game against Cincinnati, but that was Cincinnati. Georgia’s run defense is the best in the nation, allowing merely 2.7 yards per carry. Though Alabama managed to rush for 115 yards in their first meeting, 40 of those yards came on three carries from their quarterback. Meanwhile, Robinson and backup running back Trey Sanders were held to 76 total yards on 22 combined carries. This is a bad matchup for Robinson, and Alabama is well aware. UNDER.

Jameson Williams OVER/UNDER 7 Receptions

With John Metchie out, Williams will have his biggest role yet. We saw a glimpse of what that role looked like against Georgia after Metchie injured his ACL with 56 left in the second quarter. Williams finished with a career-high 184 yards on seven catches, before grabbing seven more receptions against the Bearcats. Seven receptions is a hefty projection, to be sure, so I don’t necessarily love including this in your PrizePicks plays if you don’t have to. But again, if you twist my arm…OVER.

Ja’Corey Brooks OVER/UNDER 2 Receptions

This is probably my favorite prop of the night. The freshman wide receiver caught four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown against Cincinnati despite a run-heavy approach. Aside from a two-reception, 49-yard performance against Auburn, Brooks hadn’t done much through the regular season, as Metchie, Williams and Slade Bolden got most of the regular-season action. Against Cincinnati, Alabama showed they were willing to turn to no. 2 overall receiver from the 2021 class. Young and O’Brien should have even more confidence in the 6-foot-3, five-star receiver as a downfield threat. OVER.
