Hittin' The Nuts - SquirrelPatrol's NFL DFS Lineup Advice for Sunday Night Football (Bears vs. Texans)
Want to hit the nuts and take down 1st place in these massive contests posted by FanDuel and DraftKings? Who better to walk you through their favorite NFL DFS picks than SquirrelPatrol! Undoubtedly one of the best DFS players in the game, SquirrelPatrol has accumulated 100+ Live Final seats, took 2nd place in the 2023 DraftKings Fantasy Baseball World Championship for a $600,000 prize, and most recently, took down the NFL Milly Maker in Week 2 of last season.
Sunday night in Week 2 brings a matchup between two highly drafted and highly regarded quarterbacks when Caleb Williams and the Bears travel to Houston to face C.J. Stroud and the Texans. Both teams picked up a win last week, but the home team is favored by 6 points in this game, which has a total of 45.5 points. While the Texans have the 4th best odds to win the AFC according to the ScoresandOdds futures market, the Bears have longer odds in Caleb Williams’ first year, with +2700 odds to win the NFC.
Both of these teams made major personnel changes in the offseason. The Bears drafted Caleb Williams with the first overall pick in April, and then they added to their receiving corps, drafting Rome Odunze with the 9th overall pick. The team also signed Keenan Allen (although Allen looks likely to miss this game) and D’Andre Swift. The Texans traded for Stefon Diggs to fill out their WR corps and signed Joe Mixon at RB to replace Devin Singletary. The injuries are already starting to pile up in the NFL season, with both Odunze and Allen dealing with injuries for this game. I’m currently thinking Odunze will play and Allen will sit, but the latest updates will be on our NFL starting lineups page as injury news comes in.
Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.
