The Giants look to build momentum after a road victory in Seattle. The Bengals look to right the ship after a late loss to the Ravens. Sunday Night Football will treat us to plenty of offense, and the Bengals have yet to stop anybody from scoring. The Giants are underdogs at home for what amounts to an important game for both teams. Let’s break down the game before locking in our same game parlay.

Bengals vs. Giants Same Game Parlay Preview

DraftKings Sportsbook posts the Bengals as 3.5-point road favorites. Off a loss, the Bengals need to get something going, as a 1-4 record is squarely in the basement of the AFC North. On the other hand, the Giants are a few dropped passes away from a winning record and could take advantage of an under-performing Cincinnati team.

Yet ScoresAndOdds tells a different story. A wide margin of tickets and money sit on the Bengals’ side of the spread. A whopping 85% of dollars bet on the spread fall on Cincinnati. As for the 46-point implied game total, the public and sharps expect a shootout, and 71% of tickets were punched throughout the week for the over. Despite the overwhelming volume of bets on the over, the over/under dropped a full point throughout the week.

The Giants will be without rookie sensation, Malik Nabers. Nabers could not clear concussion protocol in time for Week 6. Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson should receive plenty of work. Devin Singletary will also miss the Sunday night action, so Tyrone Tracy will see a bulk of carries. Kayvon Thibodeaux hit the injured reserve and will miss the next 4-6 weeks. Thibodeaux is a big loss for a Giants’ defense that continues to pressure quarterbacks.

For the Bengals, both Zack Moss and Chase Brown will suit up after missing practice time. Brown saw a 50/50 timeshare last weekend and is likely going to see a similar work share going forward. Sheldon Rankins will play in Week 6. Rankins had vacated his spot on the defensive line since Week 2 with a hamstring injury. The Bengals desperately need all of the help they can get on defense. The Bengals rank 31st in scoring defense, allowing nearly 30 PPG in 2024.

Without Malik Nabers, the tandem of Wan’Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton saw 20 targets combined from Daniel Jones. Slayton got loose and put together a monster game, tallying 8 catches for 122 yards and a score. Robinson continues to suck up targets in the short range, catching 6 passes for fewer than 40 yards. Robinson might be a better receptions prop play than yardage.

The Bengals’ offense is clicking despite the woes on defense. The Bengals scored 35 points per game over their last 3 weeks, placing them squarely in the top 10 of scoring offenses in the NFL. Joe Burrow gained 10.1 yards per pass attempt last weekend in what was easily his best game of the season. The Giants’ defense is far weaker against the running game than the passing game, allowing 5.1 yards per rush attempt. The Bengals’ passing offense is not akin to many offenses the Giants play in 2024. While Zack Moss and Chase Brown might split a lot of touches, we should not be surprised if Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are peppered with targets on Sunday night.

Fun fact for Sunday Night Football! One of tonight’s offenses feature 2 of the top-targeted players in the NFL through 5 weeks. Nope. I am not talking about Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Instead, Malik Nabers (out) and Wan’Dale Robinson rank second and third in the NFL in targets per game. If this game becomes a track meet, both quarterbacks might be throwing a ton.

Let’s open up our props menu and build our same game parlay for Sunday Night Football.

Same Game Parlay Picks for Bengals vs. Giants

Daniel Jones Over 248.5 Passing + Rushing Yards

So let’s get ready for a shootout. My angle for tonight’s SGP is a back-and-forth affair. The Bengals’ offense is great, and the Giants will not face much resistance. Even if the Giants look to establish the run, the game script I envision would suggest Daniel Jones needs to put up big numbers.

Jones is very capable with his legs and showed what he can do against a weaker pass defense in Week 5. The Bengals are possibly the best possible matchup for a passing offense because they can’t stop anyone and can score at will.

No matter who has the lead, Jones is going to be active on Sunday night.

Darius Slayton Over 51.5 Receiving Yards

If Daniel Jones is going to put together a big game, someone in his receiving corps must come along with the quarterback. Slayton received the Nabers treatment last weekend, running similar routes and finding open space everywhere. The Bengals’ defense hasn’t stopped anyone.

Slayton is a big play threat who should be targeted heavily. I prefer his yardage prop because of the threat of a long reception, but I don’t mind his receptions prop at 4.5 either.

Tee Higgins Over 4.5 Receptions

Higgins has burned me in the past in primetime spots. However, his role has been tremendous since his return. Higgins has 10+ targets in back-to-back games and 30 total in his 3 starts. The Cincinnati offense is airing it out in 2024.

If we want to get extra spicy, we could add Chase’s over for a 4-leg parlay, but we will reserve ourselves. Higgins for 5 catches feels strong if the Bengals need to keep pace with a big Daniel Jones statistical performance.
