Bengals vs. Ravens – NFL Player Props
- Ja’Marr Chase Over/Under 83.5 Receiving Yards
- Drew Sample Over/Under 1.5 Receptions
- Tanner Hudson Over/Under 1.5 Receptions
Ja’Marr Chase OVER 83.5 Receiving Yards (-110, FanDuel)
The Ravens’ defense has been victimized repeatedly by opposing WR1 so far in 2024. Entering Week 10, Baltimore’s defense ranks 27th in DVOA against the opposing team’s top wideout and 31st in yards per game allowed to those players. Ja’Marr Chase has surprisingly not seen a huge uptick in counting stats with Tee Higgins sidelined this season, but that could change in this matchup against a secondary unit that has shown a complete inability to slow down top pass catchers this fall. For what it’s worth, Chase had 10 receptions for 193 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns when these teams met in Week 5.
Drew Sample OVER 1.5 Receptions (-130, DraftKings)
There has been a lot of talk in the betting community this week about Mike Gesicki, and understandably so. However, he’s not the only tight end that could benefit from Cincinnati’s Thursday Night Football matchup against Baltimore. Sample had 3 receptions for 28 receiving yards in Week 2 with Tee Higgins sidelined and another 4 receptions for 14 receiving yards last weekend against the Raiders, also with Higgins inactive. Sample isn’t the most explosive player in the NFL by any stretch of the imagination, but he’s more than capable of being a safety valve in a couple of short-yardage situations this evening.
Tanner Hudson OVER 1.5 Receptions (+100, BetMGM)
Tanner Hudson has played in 3 of the 4 games this season that Tee Higgins has missed. In those 3 games, Hudson has twice recorded 2 receptions and twice recorded 14+ receiving yards. Baltimore’s defense enters play ranked 27th in DVOA against opposing tight ends in 2024 and has allowed at least 61 receiving yards to a tight end in 5 of the team’s last 7 games. Mike Gesicki is the most likely beneficiary of this favorable matchup, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Hudson involved on some level as well.
