Goalie

John Gibson – Colorado may have one of the more popular top lines from a DFS perspective, but as a whole, the Avalanche are one of the worst offenses in the league. They have a 5v5 expected goal rate that is barely better than that of the Buffalo Sabres, so they are clearly in the basement of the league in terms of expected offense. The top line has been quite quiet of late, so that should help mask a so-so Duck defense. Despite the lackluster play in front of him, Gibson has been fantastic this year. With a .926 all-situation save percentage, Gibson has put forth some big games — and big fantasy scores — in much tougher assignments. On home ice and facing a weak overall offense, look for Gibson and the Ducks to get back on track
