Connor Hellebuyck – Hellebuyck has several factors working in his favor tonight, certainly more than what is going against him as his Jets host the Panthers. First, he is skating behind an elite defensive team at 5v5. Over the last month, the Jets have allowed the second fewest shot attempts per hour at 5v5, while also allowing the second fewest scoring chances and the fewest high-danger danger shot attempts per hour over that time. Florida has two strong centers but are an otherwise pedestrian offense, as evident from their 19th ranked expected goals-for at 5v5 (2.22). Second, Winnipeg is what I like to call a chess team.
