Fresh off a 3-1 night picking props, NFL betting analyst Nick Galaidais back with four more player prop bets for Monday Night Football. Follow along as he tells you whether or not Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Chris Godwin, and Leonard Fournette will exceed oddsmakers’ expectations against the New York Giants.

The New York Giants and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will conclude Week 11 of the NFL season on Monday Night Football at Raymond James Stadium. In this primetime showdown, oddsmakers are expecting a relatively easy win for Tampa Bay, pricing the Buccaneers as greater than a touchdown home favorite on the spread. After heavy line movement throughout the week, the value on the side and the total has been reduced significantly compared to its opening market price. Instead of forcing action on saturated markets, bettors may find better value on some player props this evening.

Giants vs. Buccaneers Player Props

Tom Brady u294.5 passing yards (-110)

In his second season with the Buccaneers, Tom Brady has been exceptional—leading the NFL in passing touchdowns and ranking third in QBR through the first 10 weeks of the season. Brady has eclipsed this number in five of Tampa Bay’s nine games played this season. However, tonight could be an opportunity for bettors to take the under on this prop. Following a dreadful performance against the Washington Football Team, the Buccaneers could look to make the running game a point of emphasis in this one, especially considering that only six teams in the league are allowing more yards-per-carry than New York this fall. There is further risk of a run-heavy game script with the Buccaneers being 11-point favorites on the spread. Brady could turn in a final stat line similar to Tampa Bay’s win against the Bears, in which Brady threw for four touchdowns, but only 211 yards. Take the under here.

Rob Gronkowski u30.5 receiving yards (-110)

The Buccaneers are optimistic that Rob Gronkowski will make his return to the field this evening. Yet, he could have a reduced workload in this one, considering that he has not seen the field since Halloween against the New Orleans Saints, and had not seen the field since September 26 prior to returning for that game. Gronkowski has eclipsed this receiving total in three of the four games in which he has seen the field this fall, which is likely to cause a significant amount of casual bettors to think they are receiving a discount tonight. Instead, bettors should be wary of trusting Gronkowski, who received only one target in his return to the field against the Saints. Expect Gronkowski to be used primarily as a blocker and a red zone threat tonight, and for his total receiving yards to be low as a result.

Chris Godwin – Anytime TD Scorer (+110) / o73.5 receiving yards (-110)

Chris Godwin has lined up in the slot on 56.3 percent of his offensive snaps this fall. This means that he is likely to see plenty of action against New York’s primary slot cornerback, Darnay Holmes, who has been atrocious in 2021. Godwin has only four touchdowns so far this season, but he leads Tampa Bay in both targets and receiving yards. Godwin scored seven touchdowns last fall, so he is unquestionably capable of finding pay dirt. If bettors would prefer to play the over on his receiving yards rather than banking on him to score a touchdown, both are viable options to purchase stock in Godwin this evening.

Leonard Fournette – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-135)

As mentioned above, the Buccaneers would be wise to establish the running game in this contest against a weak New York rush defense. In Week 10 against the Football Team, the Buccaneers had only 12 rushing attempts with their running backs. After trailing 13-0 early in the second quarter, Tampa Bay completely abandoned the running game, to the detriment of their entire offensive attack. Facing a Giants defense that is weak against the run, Leonard Fournette should see plenty of touches in this one, including goal line work.
