The Minnesota Vikings travel to Green Bay to take on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Unfortunately, Minnesota will be without two key players for this NFC North showdown. As we approach kickoff, the value on the spread and over/under for Sunday Night Football has been reduced compared to earlier in the week. Instead of forcing action on saturated markets, NFL bettors may find more expected value on player props Sunday night.

Vikings vs Packers Player Props

Dalvin Cook o78.5 rushing yards (-110)

PrizePicks: O/U 76.5 Yards

Below-freezing temperatures are expected tonight at Lambeau Field. Couple this with the fact that the Vikings are using a backup quarterback this evening and bettors should expect a heavy dose of Dalvin Cook in this one. Though the Packers will certainly be able to stack the box against a weak passing attack, Cook should still find success on Sunday Night Football. Cook has run for 79 yards or more in seven of the 11 games in which he has seen the field this fall. The Packers have allowed 166.3 rushing yards-per-game over the last three weeks. Cook should be able to hit this number today.

Dalvin Cook – Any Time Touchdown Scorer (+150)

PrizePicks: O/U 0.5 Touchdowns

The Packers have allowed a rushing touchdown in eight of the 15 games in which they have played in 2021. Cook has scored a rushing touchdown in five of the 11 games in which he has seen the field this fall. In frigid temperatures against a Green Bay run defense that has struggled mightily in recent weeks, plus-money on this prop is a near must-bet situation.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling o35.5 receiving yards (-110)

PrizePicks: O/U 34.5 Yards

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has perhaps the most favorable matchup on the field tonight. He is likely to see a significant number of snaps against Kris Boyd, who has graded as one of the worst cornerbacks in the NFL this season, per Pro Football Focus. Valdes-Scantling has totaled 36 receiving yards or more in five of his nine games played this year, including a 123 yard performance in Week 11 against Minnesota. In his last four games, he has seen seven or more targets three times, and has hit 50 receiving yards or more in each game that he has seen more than five targets. This is a strong play this evening, despite the cold weather.

Aaron Jones o55.5 rushing yards (-110)

PrizePicks: O/U 52.5 Yards

Aaron Jones appears to be settling into the top-option in the Green Bay rushing attack. Over the last two weeks, he has nine more rushing attempts than A.J. Dillon. Jones has also done far more with his opportunities in that stretch, totaling 124 rushing yards compared to Dillon’s 63 rushing yards. Only the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, and Los Angeles Chargers have allowed more yards-per-carry on the ground this season. Expect a big day from Jones and the Green Bay rushing attack. Take the over in this spot.
