Previewing Tuesday’s NBA games for bets to make on BetMGM
The Celtics host the Knicks in what could be an Eastern Conference Finals matchup down the road. It’s hard to not like the Celtics’ -225 moneyline here. Boston kept their entire roster intact from last year. While the Knicks got better, there might be a growing period where the team adjusts to having another star the caliber of Karl-Anthony Towns.
I also like 5+ assists for Jayson Tatum at -275 odds. Playmaking has been the area of Tatum’s game that’s grown most in his career as evidenced by an increase in assists per game every season since he entered the NBA.
The Timberwolves and Lakers are no strangers to one another either, and I’m targeting Anthony Edwards 25+ points at -225 odds right away. Edwards’ whole career has been spent splitting offensive duties with Towns, but with him gone, Edwards will have full command of the offense.
I also like 7+ assists for LeBron James at -300 odds. Since 2016, James has averaged fewer than 7.3 assists on a season just twice. Few players in the NBA are as selfless as James while possessing an otherworldly passing ability.
