Call of Duty DFS Breakdown: Friday, June 12th

NOTE: This event was originally supposed to be held on June 5th. Because of recent events and the tournament being hosted by the Minnesota Rokkr squad, it was postponed. A lot has changed with a few teams at this event since then and also with the game itself. I will discuss all changes in this updated version of the article!

This upcoming event that starts on June 12th is hosted by the Minnesota Rokkr. The Rokkr are in an interesting spot right now after underperforming at back to back events. This includes a 3-8 map count at their most recent event and a 4-6 map count the event before that. This stems mostly from an underperforming GodRx. He has dropped back to back sub 0.9 K/D’s which is a stark difference compared to his season K/D of 1.168 which puts him sixth overall on the slate. It’s hard to tell what’s causing the drop in performance for him as I do not think that he has really “lost a step,” it might be more of a team dynamic thing that is tricky for us to pick up on. I would think that the team would have had discussions about this because this team goes as GodRx goes. Assault has been giving consistent performances all season, along with Alexx, while Silly and Asim hold down the more team-first roles. They really need GodRx to return to form. Also, with Karma retiring and Toronto benching Classic, we can add two new lineups to the bunch that we get to see this weekend.
