Cantor Gaming: The Vegas Approach to Daily Fantasy Sports
Right before our recent DFBC trip, someone brought up the Cantor Six daily fantasy sports option offered in Las Vegas. While the RotoGrinders crew didn’t quite find the time to actually indulge in a Vegas-style DFS game, we definitely made sure to read up on the details. And those details were certainly very interesting, as Cantor Six offers a whole new twist on the daily fantasy game. The idea is innovative, but one that will be relegated to the Vegas Sportsbooks only as it heavily involves odds-making and a near sports-betting experience. Here is your full Cantor 6 Review, and if you are ever in Vegas, you might want to check it out.
Cantor Gaming
We found the Cantor 6 daily fantasy game offered at the Venetian and Palazzo hotel, although after doing a bit of digging I saw that Cantor Gaming is a sportsbook affiliate who offers their services to the M Resort, Hard Rock, Tropicana Las Vegas and Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. They focus on mobile sports betting for casinos, which our own Dan Back used while on the Palazzo premises to bet on games right from his phone. He set up an account and brought his account info down to the Legasse Stadium at the end of the weekend and collected on his winnings.
They also offered the Cantor 5 game for the NBA Daily Fantasy action and the Cantor 7 game for Daily Fantasy Football!!
Cantor 6 Breakdown

Here’s the basics of the Cantor 6 Game:
- Each day, the casino sets two 6-player lineups from a 6-tier player pool similar to Pro Pick Em game styles on many daily fantasy sites.
- In the most basic game, you are picking a lineup that can beat the house essentially.
- These lineups aren’t all that good, for example the lineup for Thursday July 26th was:
Yovani Gallardo
Bryce Harper
Andrew McCutchen
JP Arencibia
Kyle Seager
Alcides Escobar - The lineup and player tiers are broken down into 1 SP, 2 OF and 3 IF
- You select a lineup to compete against the Cantor 6 lineup but it comes with a twist.

- Each match-up is weighed based on the sportsbook player projections and a moneyline is assigned to it, much like an MLB game.
- If you select a group of players that are far superior to the Cantor 6 lineup, you will be stuck with being heavily favored and thus in line for a very small payout if you are to win.
Cantor 5(NBA) and Cantor 7(NFL)
- Cantor 5 for NBA Has 7 Main Statistical Categories: Points, Assists, Steals, Rebounds, Blocks, Turnovers and FOULS.
- Cantor 5 uses 2 Guards, 2 Forwards and 1 Center
- More info on Cantor 7 for NFL to come!!(Hasn’t launched yet)
The Wrap-up

The main idea is that they add a sports-betting money line to each game based on the advantage or disadvantage your team is at based on your pro pick em skills. Combine Pro Pick Em skills with sports betting knowledge and you could win some serious coin. It’s really cool and I can’t wait to take some time out to pick a few lineups when we return to Vegas for our Week 1 NFL Opening Weekend Bash! I already posted this video in the forums but I am so excited for the party I’ll put it up again.
