Using his experience as a former scout and staff member at Central Florida under Josh Heupel, Jordan Vanek takes an in-depth look at the upcoming CFB DFS main slate on DraftKings. Formerly of The 33rd Team and 4for4 Fantasy Football, Jordan will do a deep dive into the best stacks, running backs, and wide receivers before giving his overall thoughts on some slate strategy.

Week 3 of college football almost gave us a major upset, with Kentucky nearly toppling Georgia, Alabama’s offense roared back to life, and Tennessee continued lighting up the scoreboard. Last week’s article featured some great calls, with standout performances from Jalen Milroe, Raheim Sanders, and De’Zhaun Stribling, and we’re looking to build on that success.

This week, we have even more data to work with and a value-packed slate. Interestingly, no player (except Ollie Gordon II) is priced above $9,000, and we’ve got several teams coming off bye weeks, along with some very high game totals. We’re entering that pivotal point in the season where teams start revealing their true identities, and key players are finally returning from injury. It’s time to dig in and make the most of these evolving matchups!

If you have any questions about my analysis or the slate overall, feel free to reach out in the RotoGrinders Discord.

CFB DFS DraftKings Picks: Top Stacks, Running Backs, & Wide Receivers for Week 4

Stacking & Bring-backs

Garrett Nussmeier ($8,100, QB, LSU)

Kyren Lacy ($8,100, WR, LSU)

LSU’s offense thrives through the air, and we’ve already seen Indiana exploit a similar weakness against UCLA, throwing for 4 touchdowns while averaging 9.3 yards per attempt. UCLA has consistently struggled to cover receivers on the perimeter, making this a prime opportunity for LSU’s wideouts. Kyren Lacy, in particular, stands out, with a 35.6% target share on his routes out wide.

A double stack with Nussmeier makes sense, especially since he isn’t much of a runner. However, I’m cautious about relying on LSU’s other pass catchers, as they may not produce the high scores needed for GPPs with Chris Hilton Jr. returning into the lineup where they already rotated a ton at WR.
