CFB DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Week 4

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

headChopper: Cam Skattebo
MrTuttle05: Tyler Shough
stlcardinals84: Tyler Shough
Jordan Vanek: Cam Skattebo

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: 150 GPP lineups and a few hand-built lineups in the high-dollar stuff. I’ll embrace the chalk, especially on my hand-built lineups, and game-stack more on the 150 in large-field tournaments. But I’m not worried about ownership too much; it’s just a way of life in CFB DFS that chalk is going to hit a lot, for good reason.

MrTuttle05: Large-field. Spread out wide receiver exposure. Xzavier Henderson, Elijhah Badger, and Ja’Corey Brooks look to be the “chalkier” receiver options, but after that, expected ownership falls off a cliff. While I plan on having exposure to those three, it looks like it’s a week where it makes sense to take more shots at WRs who are projected to have single-digit ownership.

stlcardinals84: As usual, I will focus on larger-field GPPs with multiple entries. I plan to take an overweight stance on two teams this week: LSU and Mississippi State. The SEC looks like it is going to be an offensive-focused conference this season. LSU gets a friendly non-conference matchup against a UCLA team that looks to be very poor, while Mississippi State gets to face the mess that is the Florida Gators. I expect both of these games to be close enough to keep the starters on the field for the entire game, and I love the skill players on both of these teams. You can play some of the chalkier players on these squads and get different with WR selections. For example, I like going with CJ Daniels over Kyren Lacy in some GPP builds.

Jordan Vanek: I’ll be focusing on low-entry, high-stakes tournaments this weekend. There’s significant value on this week’s slate, and I believe some of the stacks I’m targeting are being overlooked. At the running back position, there are several top-tier players with massive upside that can help differentiate my lineup.

What is your favorite correlation and why?
