CFB DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Week 5

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

headChopper: Devin Neal
MrTuttle05: Devin Neal
stlcardinals84: Devin Neal
Jordan Vanek: Devin Neal

What is your favorite correlation and why?

headChopper: Jaxson Dart + Tre Harris – This is an incredibly high-priced stack, and as I previously mentioned, that’s how I want my builds in most of these lineups. This gets me different from a strategic standpoint. As for the plays themselves, Dart has been a different player this season without Quinshon Judkins to fall back on. He’s thrown for 300+ passing yards in every game so far (though against weak competition). Harris was a monster at times last season and looks to be the clear #1 target this season. He has 10+ targets in every game.

MrTuttle05: Arch Manning (or Quinn Ewers) + Isaiah Bond – I alluded to it above, but my plan is to be overweight on the Texas passing attack. Mississippi State has really struggled to defend the pass this season, and Texas has shown the desire to throw the ball often, even in noncompetitive games. Bond is simply too cheap as a WR1 in this matchup and is my preferred stacking candidate, but I plan on having exposure to Matthew Golden, Gunnar Helm, and Ryan Wingo as well.

stlcardinals84: Miller Moss + Zachariah Branch – I don’t think this duo will carry a ton of ownership, and there’s very sneaky upside here. Moss threw the ball 51 times last week against a very stout Michigan defense, and Wisconsin likely won’t provide the same level of resistance. Combine that with Wisconsin’s more pass-friendly approach offensively, and we could see a potential shootout. Branch has game-changing speed and can easily take one 80 yards to the house at any moment, and I really like pairing him with Moss for tournament upside.

Jordan Vanek: Kurtis Rourke + Elijah Sarratt + Myles Price – I plan to use this stack in a lot of builds. Maryland allowed Michigan State to exploit their defense, with three different WRs paying off price tags that were more expensive than what we see on Sarratt and Price this week. Sarratt holds a 28.3% target share against the single-high coverage looks that Maryland typically gives, while Price is averaging 4.48 yards per route run against the same look. And I believe Indiana has a much better passing scheme than Michigan State.

Who is your favorite overall play when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc. and why?
