CFB DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Week 6

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

headChopper: Omarion Hampton
MrTuttle05: Omarion Hampton
stlcardinals84: Omarion Hampton
Jordan Vanek: Tre Harris

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I am playing a mix of 150-max large-field GPPs and sprinkling in 3-4 hand-built lineups in the higher-dollar GPPs. Looks like I have to eat the chalk again with the mispricing on Caullin Lacy, so most rosters will be playing 7-on-7. I’ll make up for that by being well overweight on some high-upside guys projected at low ownership (e.g., Kyron Drones, Kyle Monangai, Luther Burden III).

MrTuttle05: Large-field – This is the first week of the season where the top tier of RB (i.e., $7,000+) is really strong, and as a result, it will be the first week the position is a priority spend-up for me. Omarion Hampton is my favorite overall top-tier RB, but I plan on being overweight on Ollie Gordon II as well.

stlcardinals84: As usual, I will play in the large-field GPP contests. I am looking to narrow down my player pool a bit more and simply rostering the players that I like the most. The larger-than-normal 14-game slate will help to spread out ownership to some degree, which helps to lessen the concern about “over-owned” players. I will play more chalky options at quarterback (trying to pay up for Jalen Milroe as much as possible) and running back (Omarion Hampton and Bhayshul Tuten are my preferred plays) while getting more cheap value at wide receiver. Wide receiver is also the position where I will target some cheap values who are projecting for lower ownership, with Jahmal Banks being my favorite.

Jordan Vanek: I’ve secured a few tickets for the big $555 contest, and that’s where my attention will be. With about 5 entries, I’m aiming to differentiate my lineups, particularly by stacking NC State players. I also plan to take a strong stance on Ollie Gordon II over Omarion Hampton, as I believe Pittsburgh’s run defense is capable of containing Hampton. If that plays out as expected, it could give me a crucial edge in the contest. Also, getting lineups with Jalen Milroe, Gordon, and Tre Harris will be the way I attack this slate that has massive value. My focus is on making these strategic choices to maximize my upside and gain an advantage over the field.

What is your favorite correlation and why?
