CFB DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Week 9
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
headChopper: Makhi Hughes
MrTuttle05: Makhi Hughes
stlcardinals84: Makhi Hughes
Jordan Vanek: Makhi Hughes
What is your favorite correlation and why?
headChopper: Will Howard + Emeka Egbuka – The QBs who project higher than Howard come in at significantly higher price tags, and the same goes for the WRs and Egbuka. I have a gut feeling this stack won’t be popular either. The fact is, Ohio State could do what they want and still win this game, but I think they get Howard and his WRs some good reps here with Quinshon Judkins a bit banged up and a defense that has been vulnerable through the air.
MrTuttle05: Minnesota onslaughts (Max Brosmer + Darius Taylor + Daniel Jackson) – Maryland has been pretty solid against the run this season but has been torn apart through the air. So why include Taylor as a part of the stack? Because he is the team’s 2nd-leading receiver this season! Brosmer has been a checkdown machine, making Taylor’s already huge workload even better. Brosmer ($5,000) and Jackson ($4,500) are extremely cheap, and I also plan on having some lineups with just those two in it.

stlcardinals84: Stacking various options from the TUL/UNT game is my favorite approach. This is a game with a massive 68-point total, and it could turn into an even bigger shootout than that. My favorite correlation is Makhi Hughes with North Texas passing game options, as I think Tulane will play with a lead. North Texas has been gashed of late defensively, and Hughes could put up a slate-breaking score. If that game flow comes to fruition, it’s not crazy to use multiple options from the North Texas passing attack, and I especially like Dalton Carnes as a minimum salary punt option.
Jordan Vanek: Makhi Hughes + DT Sheffield – The game has an over/under set at 67 points, and Hughes is projected to have massive ownership, while only 2% of the field is expected to play Sheffield. Sheffield has gone over 100 receiving yards in 3 of his last 4 games, and in his most recent game, he recorded 3 touchdowns and 200 total yards. Although Tulane has a strong defense, these numbers and the volume he’s likely to receive make him a fantastic play. With such low projected ownership, I’m excited to be over the field on him.
Who is your favorite overall play when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc. and why?
