CFB DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Week 4 Picks

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

headChopper: Cade Klubnik (FD) / Taylen Green (DK)
MrTuttle05: Jeremiyah Love
stlcardinals84: Cade Klubnik (FD) / Taylen Green (DK)
Jordan Vanek: Cade Klubnik (FD) / Taylen Green (DK)

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I’m mainly focused on smaller fields with limited entries. We’re starting to get into a better part of the schedule with less blowout risk, so more options are in play, making it easier to get different. The only player I see as unquestioned chalk is Harrison Wallace III. Beyond that, anyone projected for high ownership is someone I can make a case to fade, so I’ll avoid putting more than one high-owned player on my roster.

MrTuttle05: Large-field tournaments – Diversify. There are a TON of good options this week, yet we’ll likely see fairly condensed ownership, especially on players that are “mispriced” (like Harrison Wallace III on DraftKings). While I’ll have some exposure to the players who are projecting for higher ownership, my player pool will be spread out and heavily diversified.

stlcardinals84: I will focus on a smaller amount of entries in the large-field tournaments, as I like a narrowed-down player pool more this week than most. I am very much going to be overweight on the Clemson offense, as I like the point-per-dollar potential for all of their key players in a get-right spot against a terrible Syracuse defense.

Jordan Vanek: I’ll be playing higher-stakes contests with fewer entries because my pool is more condensed than usual in terms of the games I want to target and how I plan to attack them. The chalk is tough to ignore, but when you correlate a QB who gets there through the passing game, you can pivot away from those chalky pieces. Take Harrison Wallace III, for example. He’ll likely hit value, but if he only gets to 12-15 points, is he winning you a tournament? Probably not. That’s why I’m more focused on finding strong correlations with passing QBs that give me access to ceiling outcomes, rather than settling for chalk that just “gets there.”

What is your favorite correlation and why?
