What is your favorite correlation and why?
headChopper: Tommy Castellanos + Duce Robinson – I think the high price tag on Castellanos drives ownership down a bit, and he has an easy stack with Duce. Pitt just doesn’t have the defense they typically do, and I think this is a big bounce-back spot for this pair.
MrTuttle05: Aidan Chiles + pass-catchers – Prior to last week’s game against the Huskers, Chiles had strung together 3 solid fantasy starts, especially for someone with a middling price tag. Chiles gets an easier matchup this week in a home game against UCLA, and after last week, there’s some hope that UCLA will be able to keep games a bit more competitive moving forward. Chiles is easy to stack on DK with his two top pass-catchers, Nick Marsh ($5,500) and Omari Kelly ($4,100), who are both inexpensive. He also could provide some leverage off of Makhi Frazier, who should garner healthy ownership.
stlcardinals84: On DK, I like the correlation of Aidan Chiles and his wide receivers because the entire combination is cheap. UCLA may have beaten Penn State last week, but their defense is abysmal. They have given up 30+ points to every opponent not named Northwestern. On FD, it’s more of a conversation because of the pricing, but the Behren Morton to Caleb Douglas combination makes a lot of builds work. It’s a pretty wide open week.
Jordan Vanek: Mason Heintschel + Kenny Johnson + Duce Robinson + Tommy Castellanos – Pittsburgh ran 88 plays last weekend, while Florida State has topped 70 plays in 4 straight games. That kind of pace sets up this matchup as a potential shootout – and at a relatively low price point across the board. Johnson emerged as the favorite target for the true freshman QB, Heintschel, posting 9 receptions (on 11 targets) for 115 yards. On the other side, Robinson has been a dynamic playmaker for Florida State, recording 80+ receiving yards in 3 of his last 4 games. And don’t overlook Castellanos – his usage in Gus Malzahn’s offense gives him legitimate upside for 300+ passing yards and 100+ rushing yards.
Who is your favorite overall play when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc. and why?
