Chargers vs. Raiders NFL Player Props for TNF
- Easton Stick o184.5 Passing Yards
- Easton Stick o19.5 Rushing Yards
- Austin Ekeler u47.5 Rushing Yards
Easton Stick o184.5 Passing Yards (-110), FanDuel
Last weekend, Easton Stick relieved Justin Herbert midway through the game and still threw for 179 passing yards on 24 attempts. His average depth of target (aDOT) was the 3rd-highest of any signal caller to take the field in Week 14, providing evidence that the coaching staff trusts Stick to throw the ball downfield on a regular basis. The Raiders secondary unit has played better since Antonio Pierce took over as the head coach, but they have still allowed plenty of passing yards in recent weeks – 263 passing yards to Zach Wilson, 325 passing yards to Tua Tagovailoa, and 298 passing yards to Patrick Mahomes. The Chargers run the ball less effectively than nearly every team in the NFL, which means Stick is going to have to make some plays in this contest for the Chargers to be competitive. This market number is simply too low in this spot.
Easton Stick o19.5 Rushing Yards (-110), DraftKings
Easton Stick did not take off and run a single time in Week 14, but that is likely to change on Thursday, with the benefit of a few practice sessions leading up to kickoff. Stick was a dynamic dual-threat during his collegiate career, running for 677 yards and scoring 17 times with his legs during the 2018 campaign alone. The level of competition between the FCS and the NFL is obviously much different, but Stick had at least 10 rush attempts in six of his final 12 games at North Dakota State. It would be more than a little bit surprising if Stick did not use his legs at least a few times on Thursday night.
Austin Ekeler u47.5 Rushing Yards (-130), DraftKings
Austin Ekeler had 51 rushing yards last week against the Broncos, but he still had only 10 carries, with both Isaiah Spiller and Joshua Kelley being involved in the team’s ground attack. Tonight, Ekeler has a tough matchup against a Las Vegas defense that ranks 4th in rush EPA/play since Antonio Pierce took over as head coach in Week 9. According to PFF, the Chargers have the worst run blocking offensive line in the NFL this season, which only compounds matters on Thursday. There are a number of different ways in which Ekeler could finish with fewer than 47 rushing yards, making this an appealing look to start Week 15.
