CheeseIsGood's Fantasy Baseball Tiers and Top 100 Hitters for 2020

There are a lot of question marks around the 2020 baseball season, and projecting numbers for full season fantasy leagues is not going to be possible with much accuracy until we know more details about the start and length of the season. However, the big picture ranking of hitters is not going to change much with a shorter season. I see more problems with pitchers if we get an unusual season length this year.

What I’m going to do here is to go position by position by splitting each position up into tiers. This is not meant to be an exhaustive or exact ranking list, but rather a look at how I’ve got each position separated. These rankings are based on roto leagues, and if you’re in a points league, you won’t need to worry about bumping up the stolen bases the way I have here.

At the bottom, I’ve got a list of my Top 100 Overall Hitters List as of early April. This will show you where these positional groups fit in relation to each other. You could also draft the early rounds off the Top 100 list and then use the positional tiers to fill in your needs from there.

CATCHER

Tier One – J.T. Realmuto

Tier Two– Gary Sanchez, Mitch Garver, Yasmani Grandal, Willson Contreras
