CheeseIsGood's Top 25 Fantasy Baseball Starting Pitchers for 2020

These starting pitcher rankings are subject to change depending on when the season begins, and once we know how many games will be played. There are several pitchers with injuries that would move up or down depending on the season’s start date, and several pitchers who would have limited innings in a full season, but may be closer to a full workload if we have a shortened season.

This list is as of March 24th, with the assumption that the season doesn’t begin until at least late-May yet we still have at least a 100-game MLB season.

A few examples of where these rankings are fluid: Max Scherzer, Justin Verlander, Blake Snell and Mike Clevinger have all had some health issues this off-season, but at this point, all should be back on the mound with a late start to the season. I haven’t moved them down very far, but they’d all be a couple spots higher if not for those injuries.
