On Friday evening, the Chicago Bulls and the Golden State Warriors will battle at the Chase Center. The Bulls enter play on a two game winning streak after defeating the Brooklyn Nets and the Dallas Mavericks at home. The Warriors remain the only one-loss team in the NBA, having suffered a three point overtime defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies on October 28th. Oddsmakers anticipate Golden State taking advantage of Chicago’s injury woes in this matchup, pricing the Warriors as 5.5-point home favorites on the spread.

Let’s take a closer look at Bucks vs. Sixers odds along with some NBA betting tips for tonight’s matchup on TNT.

Chicago Bulls +5.5

Chicago is currently tied with the Washington Wizards for the best record in the Eastern Conference, but the strength of their wins leaves much to be desired. Five of Chicago’s eight wins have come against teams likely heading to the lottery this upcoming summer—the Detroit Pistons, New Orleans Pelicans, Toronto Raptors, Dallas Mavericks. The Bulls have also beaten the Utah Jazz, who were dealing with injuries to key players and the inconsistent Boston Celtics. Arguably Chicago’s most impressive win, a victory over the Brooklyn Nets, is also tainted because Brooklyn was on a back-to-back and Chicago had two days off prior to that contest.

The media is eager for the Bulls to be one of the best teams in the NBA, but their roster screams pretender far more than it does legitimate contender. DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and Lonzo Ball are the only players on this team averaging double-figures in scoring. Vucevic is the only player on this roster averaging more than 5.8 rebounds per game. Vucevic’s absence from tonight’s affair due to health and safety protocols is likely to be a tremendous blow to both Chicago’s offensive output and their rebounding efforts.

Patrick Williams, a key member of a weak second unit, continues to be listed as out due to a ligament tear in his left wrist. Chicago may be able to keep pace with Golden State’s starters early in this contest, but the lack of depth on the Bulls’ bench could be extremely problematic tonight.

Golden State Warriors -5.5

Despite a 10-1 beginning to the new campaign, some pundits are still finding it difficult to believe how good this Golden State lineup looks. Other than a narrow loss to the Grizzlies, the Warriors have been unquestionably the most dominant team in the NBA through the first month of the season. Golden State leads the league with a 13.1 Net Rating, which is an astounding 4.2 points better than the second-best team, the Utah Jazz.

Stephen Curry is the clear alpha of this offense, averaging a robust 27.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game. However, the consistent contributions of Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, and Damion Lee are the reason that this group ranks third in the league in offensive efficiency entering action on Friday.

Defensively, Golden State is anchored by veteran Draymond Green, but Head Coach Steve Kerr has instilled a commitment to getting stops throughout this entire roster. Through 11 games, the Warriors are surrendering only 99.2 points per 100 possessions—the best mark in the NBA by a significant margin.

Bulls vs. Warriors Picks

Only one of Golden State’s first 10 victories this season has been decided by less than seven points. The Warriors have won each of their last six contests by 13 points or more. Chicago is losing over 12 percent of their scoring output and nearly 25 percent of their total rebounding with Vucevic on the sidelines in this one. Golden State’s depth could threaten to turn this game into a blowout relatively early in this matchup. Bettors should seize the opportunity to grab the best team in the NBA at such a favorable line.

PICK: Warriors -5.5 (-110)
