Top CFB DFS Picks & Fantasy Pick’em Plays for Week 2
Cameron Rising: It was a cupcake opponent, but it’s worth noting that Utah’s offense looked mega-sharp in Week 15. Rising attempted just 15 passes, and 5 of them were touchdown throws. They scored touchdowns on each of their first 5 offensive possessions. This group looks primed for a big year offensively, and I like them to put up points once again in Week 2 against Baylor. Rising is one of the best quarterback options on the board.
Ollie Gordon II: Gordon put any doubts about his tumultuous offseason to rest with a huge opener, as he had a 28/126/3 line on the ground while also logging some targets in the passing game. He is going to push for 30+ touches each and every week, and he is basically impossible to fade in DFS. He is by far the top running back on the board yet again in Week 2, especially in a potential shootout against Arkansas in a game that has a total north of 60 points.
Oronde Gadsden II: If you are playing on DraftKings, you have to get some exposure to Syracuse. I am not sure why they remain so cheap. Gadsden’s price has come up a bit from the opener, but it is still not where it should be after a game where he logged seven catches and a whopping twelve targets. He is going to be a key piece for the Orange in the red zone too. Keep riding the value train until the price on him (and LeQuint Allen) gets to where it should be.
