Top CFB DFS Picks & Fantasy Pick’em Plays for Week 3

Dillon Gabriel: It will be interesting to see how people view Gabriel heading into Week 3. He put up huge numbers against Idaho (41 completions and 380 yards), but Oregon struggled to put away a mediocre team and scored just 24 points. They looked better as a whole last week against Boise State, but Gabriel did not have gaudy passing totals. Still, he has completed more than 84% of his passes on the season, Oregon is projected for a lot of points again this week, and we have Gabriel projected for almost 340 passing yards. I think he puts up a huge all-around line.

Desmond Reid: At some point, Reid will not be a mega-popular option every week. However, this is not going to be that week. DraftKings has priced him at a still affordable $6,400, and that is too cheap for his expected production. He has 42 total touches in the first 2 games for Pittsburgh, with 140+ rushing yards in each of them. He also had a 6/106/1 receiving line last week. He is a true 3-down workhorse for the Panthers, and he is an elite point-per-dollar DFS option.

Eugene Wilson III: The Florida Gators look like they are in some trouble this season, but that might not necessarily be bad news for Wilson’s fantasy value. He had a 6/141/1 line in last week’s easy win over Samford, and he is going to see plenty of volume in competitive games. This game against Texas A&M projects to be one of those, as it features a tight 4-point spread. Wilson is a big asset in PPR formats and is a fine DFS spend, even though the Gators don’t have the highest implied team total.
