Top CFB DFS Picks & Fantasy Pick’em Plays for Week 4
Garrett Nussmeier: LSU is coming off a wild win over South Carolina that could springboard them into conference season. Before they get back to conference play, they get a non-conference test against what looks to be an underwhelming UCLA team. There is blowout risk here, but Nussmeier should be a big part of potentially leading a blowout, and he has massive upside if the game stays close. Through the first 3 games, he has 10 touchdown passes and is averaging nearly 40 pass attempts per game. I really like the ceiling here.
Phil Mafah: Clemson is coming off a blowout win over Appalachian State followed by a week off, so Mafah should be rested and ready to go for this conference game against NC State. I would expect him to push for 20+ touches, and I am not worried about the more limited touches in the first 2 games — both of which were blowouts. Mafah is going to be their clear RB1 in competitive games, and NC State appears to have a weakness in their rush defense this season. Mafah is a great play this week.
Xzavier Henderson: Henderson looks to be the clear WR1 for Cincinnati this season, and he has at least 6 catches and 80+ receiving yards in each of the team’s first 3 games. Houston has looked stout defensively thus far, but 2 of their games have come against poor offenses. Cincinnati is a much better team than many people are giving them credit for, and they could easily be 3-0 if not for a late game collapse against Pittsburgh. Henderson has intriguing upside, with 10+ catches and multiple touchdowns in his range of potential outcomes.
