Top CFB DFS Picks & Fantasy Pick’em Plays for Week 5
Jaxson Dart: Ole Miss has been absolutely boat racing bad teams to start the season. They do not take the foot off the gas, and the Jaxson Dart Heisman campaigning has begun. Dart already has 15 total touchdowns in 4 games, and he has been running a little more too. The matchup takes a huge notch upward against a very good Kentucky defense this weekend, but Dart could throw the ball 40+ times. On a pure volume basis, he should be an intriguing fantasy option, and I like him even more for DFS if the ownership dips against a good opponent.
RJ Harvey: UCF has scored at least 35 points in every game so far, and they are clearly comfortable using Harvey as a workhorse back. He is averaging 20 touches per game, and he has rushed for at least 125 yards and 2 touchdowns in each contest. In their first competitive game last week, he carried the ball 29 times for 180 yards and 2 scores, and he also caught a touchdown pass. He is going to be my top running back target this weekend against a vulnerable Colorado defense in a game that should be high scoring.
Will Pauling: If you are playing on DraftKings this week, there is a ton of value to be had at the wide receiver position. Wisconsin is a team that we are not used to targeting for wide receivers, but they are playing a much more open style of football under their current coaching staff. Will Pauling is seeing a consistent 7-10 targets per game, and the Badgers are going to need to score against a USC team that is going to move the football. I actually like stacking together a few different pieces from this game in my DFS GPP builds.
