What kind of performances can we expect on Black Friday from Tim Boyle, Breece Hall, and Bradley Chubb? Follow along as our NFL betting expert, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite NFL prop bets and DFS pick’em predictions for today – Friday, November 24, 2023. The inaugural NFL Black Friday game will feature the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets from MetLife Field, just outside of the Big Apple. Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will be looking to increase their lead atop the AFC East division. Tim Boyle and the Jets will be hoping to pull off an upset to keep the team’s playoff hopes alive until Aaron Rodgers is able to return in December.

Ahead of kickoff, the Dolphins are favored by 9.5 points on the spread. The game total is set at over/under 40.5 points. If choosing to wager instead on the player prop market, we have three prop leans for this evening’s matchup!

Dolphins vs. Jets Player Props for Black Friday

Tim Boyle o16.5 Completions (-148), FanDuel

Seemingly everyone is under the impression that Tim Boyle will be picking up a football for the first time in his life on Friday when the Jets host the Dolphins at MetLife Stadium, but that is not the case. Boyle had 94 pass attempts in 2021 with the 3-13-1 Lions and performed rather adequately – ranking 14th in EPA/play and 18th in success rate from Week 16 to Week 18 among quarterbacks with at least 50 snaps. Boyle has a career 60.8% completion rate and gets to face a Miami defense that has allowed at least 19 completions to every quarterback not named Daniel Jones this fall. Notably, Aidan O’Connell had 24 completions against Miami in Week 11. This market number is simply too low, regardless of how someone feels about Boyle long-term.

Breece Hall o13.5 Rush Attempts (-114), FanDuel

We have been fading Breece Hall for weeks on his rushing yards, but this is a good buy-low spot on a player with more talent than almost any other running back in the NFL. Hall has received at least 10 carries in each of his last six games, despite the fact that the Jets have been massacred twice in that span. Notably, Hall had 16 rush attempts against the Chargers in the beginning of November in a game that New York lost 27-6. Miami has been stout against the run since Jalen Ramsey returned in Week 8, making his rushing yards a more risky proposition in this spot. Instead, take a risk on Hall to have a heavy workload on Friday. If New York has success running the ball, it is likely that they will feed Hall early and often. If New York does not have success running the ball, well, they might run Hall into the line 14 times today just to reduce the responsibility of new starting quarterback Tim Boyle.

NFL DFS Pick’em

Bradley Chubb More Than 0.25 Sacks, PrizePicks

Last weekend, the Jets offensive line allowed Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle to be sacked six times. Wilson was sacked twice the week before that, eight times the week before that, and has been sacked at least twice in every game this fall. Bradley Chubb has six sacks this season and has at least one sack in four of his last five games. New York is extremely banged up on the offensive line heading into Friday’s action with Mekhi Becton, Duane Brown, and Billy Turner each limited or complete non-participants at practice this week. Chubb has a good chance to get home for at least a half of a sack this afternoon.
