DraftKings and FanDuel Announce 2018 MLB Live Finals

FanDuel and DraftKings have announced their live finals for the 2018 MLB season, and qualifiers have already taken place.

It’s not too late to get into the action! Here’s a quick look at each site’s live finals, how to get there, and what you can possibly win.

FanDuel World Fantasy Baseball Championship

FanDuel will be hosting their event in beautiful San Diego on August 16th through the 18th with a $1.5 million dollar prize pool that will see the winner walk away with a $300,000 payday and the title of WFBC Champion. A total of 100 entrants will take place in the live final with a minimum cash worth $5,000.

If you are one of the lucky to win a seat into the finals, you will get a trip package (retail value of $3,200) and a cash prize equal to that $5,000 minimum cash referenced above (this amount is deducted from the $1.5 million dollar prize pool as contest prizes paid). Finalists will be given accommodations for the three nights in the historic Gaslamp District in San Diego, California, one entry to the the $50,000 MLB Single Game Championship Contest that will take place at the Diamondbacks/Padres game at Petco Park, two tickets to a pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel, access to the VIP viewing party for the live final, and exclusive entry to the Playboy After Party at the Hard Rock Hotel.

3rd — $100,000
4th — $75,000
5th — $50,000
6th – 7th — $30,000
8th – 10th — $20,000
11th – 15th — $15,000
16th – 25th — $12,500
26th – 35th — $10,000
36th – 55th — $8,000
56th – 75th — $6,000
76th – 100th — $5,000

DraftKings Fantasy Baseball World Championship

DraftKings will be having their FBWC in New York City on August 9th through the 12th where 135 entrants will battle it out for a four million dollar prize pool.

Those that win a qualifier will get a package ($36,369 value) that includes a three-night VIP trip to New York City, a $1,000 cash credit for airfare, a $100K FBWC Showdown ticket, and a ticket to the FBWC live final. Players may win up to a maximum of four entries into the live final and the payouts are as follows:

1st — $500,000
2nd — $350,000
3rd — $250,000
4th — $200,000
5th — $160,000
6th — $125,000
7th – 8th — $100,000
9th – 10th — $75,000
11th – 15th — $50,000
16th – 20th — $40,000
21st – 25th — $30,000
26th – 35th — $20,000
36th – 45th — $17,500
46th – 70th — $15,000
71st – 100th — $12,500
101st – 135th — $10,000

    New York City!!! Hopefully DraftKings holds it at the Jay Z 40/40 club. They have 6-8 screens with a bar underneath. I’ve attended a couple of events there… it’s awesome!!! Time to grind for that ticket to the final in my city and Yankees tickets which is cool
