DraftKings Announces $250,000 King of the Bay

With NBA season in full force, DraftKings has announced its first live final event in San Francisco, the $250,000 King of the Bay.

Twenty qualifiers will have a chance to compete for the $50,000 1st Place prize on January 27th, 2017 in downtown San Francisco. The live final will include the NBA games that start between 7:00 PM-8:00 PM EST. All finalists will win a minimum of $5,000.

Each package is valued at $19,000 and includes a King of the Bay Ticket, a four-night stay (January 26th-30th) in San Francisco, and $1,000 cash for airfare and transfers.

Here’s a breakdown of the payout structure:

Each finalist will work with a DraftKings customer experience associate to design their dream weekend in San Francisco by selecting excursions on Saturday, January 28th and Sunday, January 29th.

Example excursions include:

• Two tickets to the Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers game on Saturday, January 28th
• A round of golf at a private course in San Francisco
• A trip to the beautiful vineyards of Napa Valley

$1,000 qualifier contests and satellite contests ranging in entry fees are now available in the DraftKings lobby.
