DraftKings PGA Millionaire Maker Updates
Another major championship on the PGA Tour means another Millionaire Maker at DraftKings and after three days of play there are 50 lineups within 20 points of the top spot meaning there will be plenty of eyes glued to their television sets today as some one will end the day with a million dollars in their bankroll.
DraftKings $3.3 Million PGA Millionaire Maker ($20 entry)

RotoGrinders will be here through out the day providing updates of all the action so make sure to tune in to find out who is moving up and who is sliding down!
Mailnurs and TooMuchMonta take down the top two spots, 27 tie for 3rd!
7:09 Eastern Time
Jason Day has won the PGA Championship and on DraftKings, mailnurs and TooMuchMonta will each collect $550,000 for their winning lineups of Day, Tony Finau, Branden Grace, Brooks Koepka, David Lingmerth, and Justin Rose. Lingmerth was the big difference maker as he came in relatively low owned at 6.4% and shot a six under 66 today. The group of 27 that lurked in the top 10 all day ended up finishing in a big tie for 3rd place and all will collect a nice pay day for their efforts. Their lineups were identical to the winners with the 10 point difference being having Robert Streb in their lineups instead of Tony Finau.
Congrats to mailnurs and TooMuchMonta on their big win and thank you for following along with our updates throughout the day! Here’s a look at the final winning lineup:

Mailnurs and TooMuchMonta this close to splitting $1.1 Million
6:39 Eastern Time
A bogey by Anirban Lahiri on 18 has essentially eliminated CPfeiffer7 from contention. This has mailnurs and TooMuchMonta with pretty much a lock on splitting the $1,000,000 first place prize and the $100,000 second place prize barring a complete collapse from one of their remaining players.
And down the stretch they come…
6:24 Eastern Time
No one has more than 13 players holes remaining and it continues to be mailnurs and TooMuchMonta in the lead and it looks as if their dreams will come down to how Tony Finau finishes up. He has two holes remaining and as long as he doesn’t blow up it’ll be tough for teams to pass those two. There is a new name in the top 10, however, as CPfeiffer7 holds the third spot with a Day, Finau, Dustin Johnson, Koepka, Streb, and the lightly owned .5% Lahiri who is -5 for the day through 16. The group of 27 continues to contend in 4th thru 30th. Here’s a look at the current top 10:

No change…
5:57 Eastern Time
There hasn’t been any changes at the top of the Milly Maker standings as mailnurs and TooMuchMonta continue to share the top spot with a 7 point lead over the group of 27. jkpepper5 and Aaronfsteinberg sit three points behind them. Cbwhit with the .1% owned George Coetzee (-6 for the day) is just three points behind those two.
Day pulling away but still up for grabs in the Milly Maker
5:41 Eastern Time
Jason Day might have a four shot lead but a missed putt could be the difference between a DraftKings player taking home a million dollars. mailnurs and TooMuchMonta continue to lead with a ten point edge over the group of 27 that currently sits in 3rd. norge20 is another three points back with pstanczyk and mclux23 another five points back. A group of seven follows those two including another lineup from mailnurs.
It’s still anyone’s tournament to win and a fortune will be made over the next 90 minutes.
Kuchar bogey drops norge20 to 5th
5:26 Eastern Time
A bogey by Matt Kuchar on 13 has dropped norge20 down to fifth and the familiar faces of mailnurs and TooMuchMonta move back into the lead with jkpepper5 and Aaronfsteinberg tied for third. The 27 way tie continues to be in contention as they now hold the 6th-32nd place spots.
norge20 takes the lead
5:09 Eastern Time
For the first time in a while we have a new leader and it’s norge20 sitting atop the standings all by themselves currently by two points over mailnurs and TooMuchMonta. Here’s a look at the leader and their lineup:

norge20 making a move
5:02 Eastern Time
mailnurs and TooMuchMonta continue to hold onto the top spot but we have a newcomer at the top as norge20 now sits in 3rd place just one point behind those two. Big days from Russell Henley and Matt Kuchar have propelled his lineup into contention for the million dollar payday and there’s still plenty of golf left to be played. The 27 way tie now sits in 4th through 30th place.
27 way tie for 5th place
4:40 Eastern Time
mailnurs and TooMuchMonta continue to lead the way but the current story is the fact that there is a 27 way tie for 5th place. The chalk lineup of the tournament looks like this: Jason Day, Branden Grace, Brooks Koepka, David Lingmerth, Justin Rose, and Robert Streb. That group is just 10 points behind the top score. And for those of you wondering, a 27 way tie for first would result in a payday of just a little over $50,000. Not quite the Millionare Maker if that happens but I’m sure those 27 would not complain with that return on their $20. Here’s a look at the current top 10 (well top four and the start of the 27 way tie):

Birdies, birdies… everywhere there’s birdies…
4:10 Eastern Time
A ton of golfers are putting up birdies but it’s still mailnurs and TooMuchMonta leading the way as the great round by Lingmerth (-6 for the day through 17) has pushed their line ups to the top. Their six golfers are a combined -17 for the day thus far. Close behind are jkpepper5 and Aaronfsteinberg who have the same lineups as the top two with Justin Thomas instead of Lingmerth. Thomas is having a day himself at -4 and how he finishes up could be the difference between a million dollar payday. Here’s a look at the current top ten:

Everyone is on the course now!
3:30 Eastern Time
All the golfers are on the course now and that’s caused some shifting in the Millionaire Maker leader board. Mailnurs and TooMuchMonta have moved back into the lead with their identical Day, Finau, Grace, Koepka, Lingmerth, Rose lineups. Here’s a look at the top 10 as we start to move to more frequent updates now that everyone is in play:

Brendan Steele moves johnny2121 into lead
2:30 Eastern Time
Brendan Steele is having himself a day and after being -4 through the first 8 holes to move to -9 under. That start has moved johnny2121 into the lead. Johnny2121 also has Cameron Smith who is -2 for the round thus far with Day, Finau, Grace, and Spieth left to go. That’s quite the remaining group – if Steele and Smith continue their hot round it could be a great day for johnny2121. Here’s a look at the rest of the top 10:

Finally some movement!
1:30 Eastern Time
We’ve finally seen some changes in the top 10. mailnurs and TooMuchMonta have taken over the top spot on the strength of a -2 start by David Lingmerth. Bg1004 moves into 8th place with Oosthuizen continuing to do well at -3. Here’s a look at the current top 10:

briant52 moves into top 10
12:30 Eastern Time
A good start by Lee Westwood, who is -1 as he nears the end of the front 9, has moved briant52 into the top 10. The rest of briant52’s lineup is Jason Day, Tony Finau, Branden Grace, Brooks Koepka, and Justin Rose. The rest of the leader board remains unchanged but there are some players lurking near the top 10 who are slowly climbing including Bg1004 who has Louis Oosthuizen (-2) currently on the course. There’s still a little bit of time before the top golfers tee off but we’ll continue to monitor the scores and see who is moving up. We’ll report back in another hour.
Play is underway!
11:30 Eastern Time
The PGA is underway and Ryan Moore is the big mover with six birdies on the front nine. His excellent play hasn’t caused any movement at the top of the Millionaire Maker leader board as most players have golfers that will tee off later. 15th place briant52 is the only one with a golfer (Lee Westwood) currently on the course at this time. We’ll have another update in an hour and there should be more movement by then as golfers like Bubba Watson hit the course.
Day 1 through 3 Summary
After the first day of play it was riverpoint520 holding the lead with a team comprised of J.B. Holmes, Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Russell Henley, David Lingmerth, and Robert Streb. That team was good enough for a score of 252.5 points and a lead of .5 points over Boomie66. Here’s a look at the top 10 at the end of Day 1 with the rosters of the top 5:
1. riverpoint520 252.5 (Day, Henley, Holmes, D.Johnson, Lingmerth, Streb)
2. Boomie66 (2) 252.0 (Day, Holmes, D.Johnson, Lee, Lingmerth, Siem)

8. 808aztec (9) 245.0
9. bchase58 243.5
10. viperwest (2) 240.5
Day 2 saw plenty of movement and it was once again Jason Day led teams leading the way with other common denominators being Harris English, Matt Jones, David Lingmerth, and Justin Rose. Most of the top 10 rosters contained at least four of those golfers and jfields0180 led the way with a lineup comprised of Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia, Matt Jones, Jason Day, Harris English, and David Lingmerth.
1. jfields0180 369.0 (Day, English, Garcia, Jones, Lingmerth, Rose)
2. samlee0411 368.5 (Day, English, Henley, Jones, Lingmerth, Spieth)

9. Freeneuron 349
9. jbird49 (3) 349
Day 3 saw the ascension of the wunderkind Jordan Spieth and the continued impressive run of Jason Day. Dominating the top 10 of the Millionaire Maker are the Steinberg brothers who hold three of the top 10 spots. It’s already been a great summer for Max Steinberg who made the November Nine of the World Series of Poker Main Event and he has two of the top scores in this tournament heading into the final day including being part of a three way tie for first place with docrepo33 and lowkey88. None of the top seven lineups have Spieth though so perhaps it could be hondizzle who sits in eighth place with a Day/Spieth led lineup that makes a move up the leader board or someone else with a Spieth-led team lower down that finds themselves on top at the end of the day. Here’s the top ten heading into the last round:
1. docrepo33 507 (Casey, Day, Holmes, Jones, Kaymer, Rose)
1. Msteinberg09 (5) 507 (Day, Finau, Grace, Holmes, Matsuyama, Rose)
1. lowkey88 (2) 507 (Day, Finau, Grace, Holmes, Matsuyama, Rose)
4. jkpepper5 506 (Day, Finau, Grace, Koepka, Rose, Thomas)
4. mailnurs (34) 506 (Day, Finau, Grace, Koepka, Lingmerth, Rose)
4. TooMuchMonta (4) 506 (Day, Finau, Grace, Koepka, Lingmerth, Rose)
4. Aaronfsteinberg (18) 506 (Day, Finau, Grace, Koepka, Rose, Thomas)
8. hondizzle (57) 503 (Day, Finau, Holmes, Jones, Spieth, Thomas)
9. Cubber21 500.5
9. Msteinberg09 (8) 500.5
