The best memory I have from Online Poker’s golden-days was winning Step 6 of a PokerStars ‘Steps’ Tournament. The concept was incredible; You could turn a measly $6 ‘Step 1’ buy-in into a $10,000 trip across the world to compete in the European Poker Tour, World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker (the world’s-finest $10,000 buy-in live, poker events)…all you had to do was take it one step at a time. I couldn’t believe it when I actually climbed that final step, and won an EPT seat.
