It’s a battle of heavyweights tonight as the 8-1 Eagles take on the 7-2 Chiefs in a Super Bowl LVII rematch that saw the Chiefs win by three. The only damper on this game is the weather, as we could see some rain along with 15 mph winds, but hopefully it clears up enough by kickoff and we get another fantastic game between these two. Dallas Goedert is out for the Eagles, so we should be looking at a big Brown and Smith target share game, along with Swift.

NFL DFS Showdown Picks: Eagles at Chiefs Week 11

Currently, this game is sitting at a 45.5 total, with the Chiefs favored by 2.5 points. I think whoever hosted this game would have been the slight favorite, and no Goedert also takes a point or two off the Eagles total, but both teams have a lot to play for as far as being the top seeds in their conferences, and if the weather holds off I think this game total will easily go over.

Quarterback

Both QBs are the most expensive plays, and I would do everything possible to fit both in your cash game lineup. Jalen Hurts ($11,000) is my preferred play between the two if you do only use one, as his rushing TD upside is unmatched for QBs in the entire league, and he only has one game under 21 FP so far this season. Patrick Mahomes ($11,200) is coming off two of his worst games of the year, but against a pass-funnel Eagles defense allowing 257 pass/yards game, this is a great spot for him to bounce back with a vintage 300+ yard and 2+ TD performance.

Running Back

Isiah Pacheco ($7,200) draws the worst matchup in football for an RB, as the Eagles are allowing just 66.3 rush yards/game, so he’ll likely have to score a short TD or get a lot of passing work to be worth his price, and I would only use him in cash games if you have to fill a final spot for around $7k.

DAndre Swift ($8,400) gets a much better matchup as the Chiefs are allowing 112.2 rush yards/game, and he should see a bump in short targets with Goedert out. I think he’s a bit too cheap for someone with his ability likely to see 18+ touches, and I’d try to stack him with Hurts in cash games to cover all the Philly offensive TDs.

Wide Receiver

AJ Brown ($10,200) is the clear top WR in this game, but he could be hard to fit in lineups that include both QBs and another $8k+ skill player. If you’re doing MME (mass multi-entry) he should absolutely be in plenty of lineups at the captain spot and stacked with Hurts, but for cash games, I think I prefer prioritizing both QBs and Kelce for spend ups. DeVonta Smith ($9,000) comes at a nice discount to Brown and should be on any GPP lineup that omits Brown for max leverage, and I prefer Smith’s price for cash games if you are set on using one Eagles WR.

The Chiefs continue to be all over the place as far as WR targets go, so using any KC WR in cash games feels extremely risky. Rashee Rice ($7,400) has emerged as the WR1 with 4 TDs on the year, but he’s still averaging under 5 targets/game on the year, and is too pricey for someone that will likely need a TD to hit value. Mahomes/Kelce is by far the best way to attack the Chiefs in cash games, and I would take shots on the WRs in GPPs only.

Tight End

Travis Kelce ($10,000) should be a priority in cash games and makes for a top captain option, as he’s by far the most likely KC player to see the most targets and find the endzone today.

With Goedert out, the Eagles will rely on Jack Stoll ($3,200), Grant Calcaterra ($200), and Albert Okwuegbunam ($400) at TE, but all three have legit 0 FP floors and I would only take shots on them in GPPs.

Defense / Special Teams

DK tried to entice people to use these DST’s by pricing them both at $4k or less, but I’m not falling for it in cash games against such high-scoring offenses. Jake Elliott ($5,200) and Harrison Butker ($5,000) should find themselves in plenty of redzone opportunities. If the weather looks better around kickoff, I think each makes for solid flex plays in your main build.

Monday Night Football NFL DFS Strategy

Pricing will likely force us to take a chance on a punt play or two in order to fit in 3-4 high-priced players with one in the captain spot. Mahomes/Kelce is my must-play duo in cash games, while Hurts/Swift are my favorite Eagles targets for the price.

DraftKings DFS Showdown Rankings

1. Travis Kelce – KC is going to have to throw to score on Philly, and no one has more upside than Kelce in those type of games.

2. Jalen Hurts – As road underdogs, he’ll have to throw a bit more than usual and could have to use his legs more without the safety valve of Goedert.

3. Patrick Mahomes – I prefer Hurts if you only use one QB, but I’d still try to find a spot for Mahomes in your main build.

4. DAndre Swift – Favorite p/$ skill player from Philly, and stacking him with Hurts should get you exposure to all of their offensive TDs.

5. Both Kickers – Butker and Elliott have big legs and will likely get a few chances each at very reasonable $5k price tags.
