EPL DFS Breakdown: Saturday, September 12th

Welcome to my favorite time of the year! If you’re like me, you’ve been really excited about the return of sports, between the NBA and NHL playoffs, MLB, College Football, the NFL all happening at the same time, not to mention the ongoing world soccer schedule that has included UEFA Nations League contests, the MLS, Ligue 1, and Liga MX, we’ve had a very busy DFS schedule. But the cream of the soccer crop is starting on Saturday, and that is the 2020-2021 EPL season.

For those unfamiliar, the Premier League is the top level national soccer league of England. The league consists of 20 teams, and they play a 38 game round-robin (every other team twice, home-away). Every season one team is crowned champion, and the bottom three teams in the table are “relegated” to the Championship division, and three more teams replace those that were relegated.
