This week’s edition of Monday Night Football will feature Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons against Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles. Cousins is still looking for his first win with his new team and will be hoping to improve on his poor career numbers in primetime. The Eagles will try to move to 2-0 but will have to do so without their top wideout, A.J. Brown.

Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

If looking to wager on the player prop market for Falcons vs. Eagles, we have 3 prop leans to consider for Monday evening!

Falcons vs. Eagles – NFL Player Props

Drake London OVER 4.5 Receptions (-135, bet365)

This past week, offensive coordinator Zac Robinson lamented the fact that Drake London didn’t get more looks in the team’s season opener. Talking to the media, Robinson commented, “Definitely have to get Drake rolling because he’s a really good player, and he’s going to have a great season for us.” Kirk Cousins added further context, explaining that the Falcons need to put themselves in more 3rd & short situations, which will help keep defenses from sitting over the top of London’s deeper routes.

Cousins and Robinson have both implicitly promised to get London more involved in the passing game in Week 2. It wouldn’t be surprising to see them come out targeting him early and often to get him involved in the game.

Jalen Hurts UNDER 31.5 Pass Attempts (-121, Bally)

The Eagles are touchdown favorites tonight at home against Kirk Cousins and the Falcons, and everything on the surface points to Philadelphia being able to take care of business in this spot. Cousins is playing only his second game off of an Achilles injury and is only 3-10 in his career in primetime – an area where he has struggled throughout his career.

Jalen Hurts has thrown 32+ passes in only 13 of the last 36 games in which he’s won, including only 4 of 18 wins at home. It’s also worth noting that he’s cleared this number in only 2 of the last 10 games he’s played without A.J. Brown on the field.

The math favors the under here.

Bijan Robinson OVER 0.5 Touchdowns (-115, FanDuel)

After one week of action, it’s abundantly clear that the new coaching regime in Atlanta no longer sees Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier as a committee backfield. Robinson had a heavy workload in Week 1 against the Steelers, playing 50 of Atlanta’s 56 offensive snaps and receiving 18 of the team’s 21 carries that went to running backs. Robinson was also 2nd on the Falcons in targets in the passing game. In 2023, Robinson had the 8th-highest explosive rush% in the entire NFL, despite playing with sub-par quarterbacks and being in a poor overall offensive system. He has the ability to take the ball to the house on any given snap, and he should be first in line for goal line attempts this evening as well, if Kirk Cousins can help move the ball down the field.
