Sunday’s NFL slate is highlighted by the Dallas Cowboys vs. Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers, and Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks
In the games I’m most interested in, the Falcons are 3-point favorites over the Cowboys, the Lions are 2.5-point favorites against the Packers, and the Rams are 0.5-point favorites against the Seahawks.
I’m picking the Falcons’ -160 moneyline over the spread in this game. I thought the Cowboys would be better after their bye, but last week suggested otherwise. Aside from their 4th-quarter comeback in that game, they looked mediocre. While the Falcons aren’t a Super Bowl contender yet in my eyes, they’re a more consistent and talented team.
In the Lions vs. Packers game, I’m going with the Packers and taking 2.5 points. This will be Jared Goff’s first game of the season outside of a dome, and Jameson Williams is still absent. I think the Packers could win this game due to their coaching and run game, which are ingredients I’m counting on to help keep this game close.
Finally, I like the Rams (-0.5) to cover and win against the Seahawks. With health returning in their favor, the Rams can win against anybody. Their offense should move the ball well with a full complement of weapons for Matthew Stafford, and I think the Seahawks being in a search for consistency at this point in the season is a detriment to them.
