FanDuel Introduces "Mixup" to MLB Product

MixUpA

This morning, FanDuel launched its new “Mixup” game to its MLB product. Mixup contests have smaller rosters and are designed so making your lineup will take less time. Mixup contests also have weekly changing themes, so rookie players have just as much time to develop their strategies as seasoned vets. These simplified Mixup games are geared towards the casual daily fantasy player as they scale down the requirements under the standard format.

How It Works

Each week, FanDuel will announce a new theme for all Mixup contests, like “All Lefties,” “NL Players Only,” or “Road Warriors (only players playing away games).” With Mixup, every week is a curveball, so you’ll have to stay on your toes if you want to win big.

This Week’s Theme: Pickup

For the week of April 26 – April 30, the theme is titled “Pickup,” which involves rostering two pitchers and any three position players within a $35,000 salary cap. This is a change from the typical FanDuel setup where you select one pitcher and eight position players. The five players you select may be from any team, with a minimum of three teams involved. Standard FanDuel MLB scoring rules apply.

Next Week’s Theme: No Pets Allowed

Check back on Monday May 1, 2017 for details on next week’s new theme, titled “No Pets Allowed.”

Contests Now Live

Ready to give FanDuel Mixup a try? Contests are now live in the FanDuel lobby, with entry fees ranging from $1 to $25. Good luck!
