FantasyDraft NBA Core Plays: Monday, October 30th
Andy Means will be bringing Premium subscribers his top cash game plays and tournament pivots to build around. A former Duke basketball walk-on and now top-ranked DFS player, Andy will take an in-depth look into each of his core plays, and then blend it all together from a roster construction perspective. On weekends, the preseason maestro you all know and love, Allan Lem, takes the reigns.

UPDATE – 5:29 PM EST
I know everyone is looking for an update with the Gasol news and JoVal and Ibaka being ruled out. Let’s start with Gasol. Obviously, we can’t lock him in unless we get confirmation that he is playing before lineups lock. Thus, I have to remove him from Core Plays. I will say though that he makes for a great tournament play if we don’t get that news beforehand.
As for Toronto, no one emerges from this as a Core Play for me in cash games if I’m being honest. At point guard, for example, I would much rather take the savings on a guy like Goran Dragic. Pascal Siakam is a nice source of salary relief if you want to target him, and he’d look even better if Noguiera is ruled out. However, he is far from a lock for me.
