Finding Paydirt: Week 7 Results
Happy Tuesday, Grinders! By my count, the Main DraftKings slate brought 49 touchdowns from skill positions. Another week with less scoring and a handful of high-projected totals staying under. Even with a few bright spots — see Darren Waller above — our pool of contestants struggled to get any traction. Mark Andrews catching a case of the dropsies drew the ire of many while a very popular Leonard Fournette couldn’t find the paint. Another Sunday, am I right? Let’s update the leaderboard and get to a few takeaways from Week 7.

1010mg parlayed a four-touchdown week into a solo seat atop the monthly leaderboard. With 10 touchdowns, 1010mg carries a two-touchdown over Copper2121 into the final week with yisman just outside with seven touchdowns. With one slate left to play, there is plenty of opportunity for a change on top of the leaderboard.
Consequently, 1010mg is also the leader in the clubhouse for the overall prize with 19 total touchdowns. The ten-touchdown month is working wonders for 1010mg as he sits squarely in play for a reward for his efforts. bdub02 sits in second after a great couple of weeks but will need to turn the tide. Sitting with 14 touchdowns, I consider myself in striking distance for the overall prize but will need to do some work. Good luck this week!
Week 7 Takeaways
Sam Darnold has come a long way since helping the spirit of Malcolm Crowe find his peace. The Jets might just be cursed.
Kirk Cousins is a vengeful sort. The man is simply dealing since all of the negative talks surrounded the Vikings early in the season. Cousins eclipsed 300 passing yards for the third time this past weekend and has a home matchup with — you guessed it — the Washington Redskins on Thursday night.
Speaking of Thursday night and all primetime matchups, for that matter, how bad are all of these island games. Sunday nights have been okay but Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football routinely features the least entertaining matchups. When creating the schedule, what appealed to the bigwigs at the NFL offices about this game? Kirk Cousins revenge against the Redskins? Do we think Kirk Cousins is mad because he received an exorbitant sum to leave Washington? Gross.
